Hello! Sir, it has become a necessity for their family as there have been a news doing rounds that Rahman would not be giving any more opportunities to Chinmayi in future. That message will affect his image as he has 3 sisters in his family. That is the reason why they have done interview. And moreover Bayilwan Renganathan dropped Atom Balm why Chinmayi has been a regular fixture of Rahman Programmes indicating VM behind it. That might lead to viewers imagination.
