Over heating is a real issue. Collies do not stop either : ) Ball on a rope are great .I keep frisbee throws low and, as you say, watch the wind. Thank you Ivan : )

I've always taken dogs for a leash walk prior to off leash exercising.
I feel it warns them up before anything more strenuous. Any athlete who knows would advocate this, damaged tendons etc stay damaged.

I am not careful enough when I engage in fetch with my dog. I try to be but i forget sometimes how focused she becomes. We have had some bad landings and crashes - luckily no serious injuries. Thank you for the reminder.!

Great video TH-cam of vet popping ball from dog throat.
Seems to be the way to save the dog from dying .dog is layed on back ,head tilted back ..vet straddled dog to position thumbs at dog's throat ..using pressure..ball pops out.

Yes Ivan I’ve only just started watching you. Top job ,Good content . Thank you for the help and good advice . That goes for all the videos I have seen of yours. I took on a mechelse herder x someone had but couldn’t handle . Three year s ago . She’s 1st class now family pp dog . She doesn’t need a lead . Twice people have entered my house with out permission , she had them in seconds. I never trained her to do that . She was a little wild when I got her she’d rip ya face off. She No training at all. In 48 hours I had her on lead , crate tr , sit, down ,side heal , wait . Pick stuffs up for me . An she loves hanging out and helping me . When we are out people always comment on how good looking she is and well behaved. Saying I wish my dog was like that . So I have bred her . When is your next work shop ? And what country?. Good luck to you and thank you 🇬🇧

I have a staffordshire terrier while playing Frisbee she jumped up to catch the Frisbee and missed her landing and banged her head. I did think nothing of it because she kept playing but 3 days later I came home to a house full of pee poop and puke. She was paralyzed in her back legs and she would sway. I thought she was poisoned. Rushed her to the vet and was told she had a concussion. The vet said she would recover completely in a few weeks and she did. I was really scared I was going to lose her. A year later while playing ball she tore her ACL. She had surgery and is recovering well. She is so intense when she plays. She feels no pain. No more Frisbee or ball for her but we still have our tug toy. She has cost me over 5000$ in 2 years but she is worth it. She is my bbgirl
