Marquette Basketball | Intro #2 | 2023-24 Season

For the 2023-24 Marquette Basketball season, Tri-Marq once again created two intro videos for the team, with this video being the second of the two. Shooting footage for both videos on the same day, we captured shots of all 17 players, coach Shaka Smart, and members of the Spirit Squad. To capture footage for two creative concepts we installed two ‘sets’ for players to rotate through at the shoot. Incorporating this footage with aerial video of the campus and existing game highlight clips, we can create the high-energy hype videos you see before tipoff at each home game.
The set for this video used a a stage floor and LED tape to create the theme of connectivity throughout the hype video and headshots. We created custom animations and content for each video and handled effects in post. We handled all creative, location shoot logistics and editorial. To round out this comprehensive project, we created complimentary content that airs in-sync with the main video playing on the center scoreboard and throughout the arena. This provides an immersive in-game experience for Marquette fans.
