My old HP Prodesk beeped similarly. I unplugged & plugged power cord, restart and PC worked normally again without beeps. If it gives warning signals again I have to follow your instructions, haven't cleaned that computer in years, sorry HP 🙁
I have tow sticks, I did what you said I trying one at a time, it still gave me the issue for both sticks. My laptop was just working fine then boom this happens
@EggheadFixers Mine just started working after 2 hours of leaving it be. But it didn't work when I tried all the methods. I even ran hardware tests just to be safe, and everything works perfectly now. I hope the problem won't come back. Thanks for the help
If you unplug the RAM and turn the computer on does the computer beep? Also, trying a new stick is the only way to tell if the RAM is bad when you only have one stick. If the issue goes away after replacing it, it was a bad RAM stick.
I had this problem then i switched it on and it showed a bios message about faulty time and when i rebooted it started the beeping sound again then i left it for a while and tried to switch it on again and it worked do i still need to do this cause I'm scared if i switch it off it will start beeping again
Does the error say something like "Real-Time Clock Power Loss (005)" or ask you to set the date and time? If so that means you need to set the date and time in BIOS. Here is a video on how to do that: th-cam.com/video/aWENV3W3Y5Q/w-d-xo.html
I have an hp omen PC, and everything I've done is not helping. It has 4 ram slots, and I've tried to change on each one. 3 long, 2 short. I then thought it was the ram that may have been the problem, so I replaced it. 3 long, 2 short. I then decided to take the internal battery and drained the excess power. 3 long, 2 short. Then i said screw it and took out the SSD, placed it back, then did everything else, making sure everything is 100% secured and nothing is loose. Turned it on and 3 long 2 short. Right now, I'm completely lost, and everything I've seen is the ram, the first I've tried.
My computer ram slot is the problem bc I tested both sticks it each slot. Is there a way to fix my ram slot or is that more of a new motherboard kind of thing? Thank you sooo much though this saved me so much money!!!!!!!!

3 2 can also be a video card failure.

@EggheadFixers it just stop working again, but before it didn't my display was displaying random stuffs. So I guess it might be the video card😔
@@kehi19 It sounds like it might be starting to fail. I would try and get al your files off of it if you can.
How do you disconnect the battery?

3 2 can also be a PCI or Video card failure. So that could be the problem
How do you open the back of the laptop?
You can go to HP.com/support and lookup the manual for your model. Usually, it will show you step-by-step instructions for taking it apart.
Eu tenho um hp zbook fury g8 3 beep lentos 2 rápidos , será que pode ser somente memória ram ? Sem imagem aliás
It's worth a try. It's usually not RAM with this LED code but you can always try it to make sure
Didn’t work. I blew, tried one at a time, changed the sticks. Still the same issue, same beeps. 3:2. Cannot update bios. I’m going nuts.
Hi! What does it mean if it beeps 2 long and 2 short?
LED code 2 2 means: Motherboard BIOS ROM failure.
There's 2 short and 2 long beeps in a hp pc, what can I do to troubleshoot?
It's a BIO's corruption or ROM error.

Unfortunately when the RAM slots stop working then the solution is to replace the motherboard.
is the ram slot physically damaged? could you tell me the model of the motherboard?
