Most Farmer Phil fans know that our lads went down to visit for the day for the maize harvest. As a side show to the main video we created from the trip, here is the famous Massey Ferguson 6499 in-cab experience as Conor hauls his first load of 2022. John is keeping him in craic along the way but also putting some serious fear in him as he reminisces about the good old days pulling a 16t classic Kane trailer with a steering axle :)

The 6499 is a true legend and a brute of a tractor, I'm actually surprised it didn't put out more hp on the dyno :)
If you would believe the fuel usage it would be over 300

Thought that myself. Bit much. I'd had enough by the time they got to the squeak and turned it off.

John’s a good man to point out flaws in other lads machinery, doesn’t take it too well when it’s the other way around.
i believe the boys loved the tractor, not meant as any criticism, the wee quirks are what makes the tractor fun and interesting ;)
2/3rd the way through and thats only 2nd time squeak mentioned, yet its heard the entire 10 mins to tbat point, 1st mention was veey brief too, fan as air con was compared to Connors Fiat, so don't see how you came to that conclusion Frank.
