The October slurry ban strikes hard each year and Alan hasn't got the kit or the time to clear his own tanks so he's called in Russell Bros to pull him out of a hole. Not the most conventional of splash plates, both tankers are running Moscha Swivel Spouts which might look a bit funny on initial appearance but they deliver a nice even spread. We're also told they empty the tanker faster too ;)

He shudnt be too hard on tom. Thats a fine place with a serious set up of sheds. Tom was a mighty man to get it to that stage.

We've had a Swivel Spout for around 12 months now, great bit of kit, doesn't leave the grass coated in cow poop mist! Definitely grows back well and fast after an application.

Great video. Alans farm is starting to look real tidy, nice gates, posts and fencing, he's getting there. Hard work but in the long run it will make his life easier. If only he can get rid of those pesky sheep, lol.

Well great content lads , im kinda new to your channel , i really enjoy John and Allans banter and the craic . Tyres , i dont know whether anyone has ever gone into this but it was mentioned in a couple of videos , tyres you get on a new tractor , car , truck , Telehandler or whatever you buy brand new from a manufacturer are subject to far more checks and quality restrictions than those you buy to replace them and so are generally far better in every way same goes for brake components , batteries , any components that the manufacturer buys in for new equipment are tested far more rigorously than what you buy off the shelf so usually last longer perform better andso on so you'll struggle to buy the same quality again . PAUL (PONYTAIL) really is worth his weight in gold but im sure ALLAN realises this ,the content from Allan and Toms farm is 100 % .

I love allans videos I remember having the conversation with my late father about getting rid of sheep cattle and milking cows and 200 sheep just did not work so sheep went and we did not regret it great man Allan I might know where a sheep handling crush with flip over crate for spearing is was my one be free to good home

Genuine question, what are yer thoughts on second hand tanks ? I am told hi spec are the best? Another lad told me a very underrated tank is the major, is it the dirty green turns fellas off or what 😅😅😅 they can be bought right , any advice greatly appreciated

So the only reason I follow farm flix is to keep up with Allan and his farm. Can someone tell me, if I buy full access to farm flix, how much more of episodes of Allan are there compared to just watching what comes up on TH-cam?
There’s another 9 or so episodes on the main FarmFlix site around Alan’s but it’s well worth the money as there’s loads more good stockyard episodes and a lot more!!
They’re following him more now this past few months. There’ll be more to come of Alan on the Aglife series on the premium channel. You won’t regret subscribing.
I think there is around 12 episodes of mr clyde so far, there are also stock yard episodes going around looking at different people's farms and their setups
these guys seem to like it :) Yeah 9 fantastic episodes from clydes Farm and The LEGEND Aul Tom has plenty to say. Some great other characters you'll find in other series and stockyards on there too ;)

It's scary to think himself and his father argue just like me and my da. Even the 'not talking for 2 or 3 weeks' comment, happens to us the whole time.
I'm a very numbers and business oriented person and he just does what he wants. It can feel very disrespectful at times when I'm trying to help him in his older age. Can leave me feel very taken advantage of.
IHe has a lovely farm and great stock,,should he not just concentrate on the farm side of things and the stock and forget the machinery side get a contractor in when needed,,seems to be always fixing stuff,,
If you have to pay a contractor to do everything you will get absolutely nowhere with the farm
every farm is different and you have to assess your own logic for what works best for your business set up :)
