@Stevieg805 everything runs into a snake, then into a Tascam Model 24 mixer where I EQ differently for each song I work on and dial it in. The model 24 also acts as my interface to my DAW. So EQ at the board, feed it in the daw, and depending on what I'm after per track (trying to get as close to the Artists production I can), then if I need to shape the sounds and samples more, I do that in the stand-alone editor.
@@stevieg8056 it can be a pain in the ass sometimes, I often think about just hooking the Yamaha EAD 10 system back up and just being done with it. Lol
Sound foam spray insulation, with R-19 sheets as well, walls and ceiling. Then overlaid with a thick painters tarp in black. I have a drop cloth to fit the whole room, just haven't installed it yet. Outside of the walls, it registers 15-20 decibals.

How did you get that snare sound man? That's huge
The whole kit is sampled boss, if I remember correctly at the time, I think I was feeding it through Superior Drummer, into Presonus Studio One.
I have since removed all of the internal May's system internal mics and went back to a traditional mic setup with Audix.
Just seen the latest one and that snare slams too, what eq and effects on that?
