I just recently found your channel and I have to say that I love your art and method of explaining things. I hope your channel gets more traction and views. Thank you for sharing!
Impatience is high on the list. Probably highest. Linked to impatience but also linked to my personality: doubting my choices, especially when I'm pein air painting. There's just so much to see, to show and instead of choosing what I want to focus on, I add too much other stuff. And because I'm impatient, I don't work it our far enough in a value sketch and end up with a 'meh' composition. Also paying too much attention to colour instead of value. Thanks for posing the question: it's made me have to think about the mistakes I make most easily and put them into words. THat makes it easier to change (I hope)

Thank you so much, and you're welcome!
I broke every one of these rules yesterday and it's still the best painting I've ever done
That's the beauty of rules, their meant to be broken.

I'm the same way. Impatience seems linked to about everything.
I'm glad I could help in some way!
Hi. Is your palette white or light grey? I struggle with a mid- toned palette
