I am a big an of Microsoft OneNote. I recently retired as an IT Project Manager and I used to store most of my PM information in OneNote files. It is super easy to use and searching is lightening fast. I found it especially useful when studying for my PMP Exam as the use of pages and sub pages would allow me to organize my notes in a similar structure to that of my study materials. Thank you for the excellent video!

Hi, I love ur reviews! And as I student, one of the things I feel about iPads is that they were not designed as computers, and thus a lot of the functions you can’t operate on iPads, it’s not as convenient as on laptops. thankyou for the great review of devices that can manage laptop and hand write features at the same time!

I am also looking at book2. Actually, I was looking for a first time tablet..so I thought I will go for the s8+. I don't need to do heavy work but I want to make lots of notes, going paperless..want to write lots of equations , scheme's algorithms etc..but I cannot agree on the the price point. I really like the super amoled screen. I also looked for the ultra..I would like to work from bed , not from the desk because then I am using the comp. So I am looking for a very good note taking device..and now I am shifting also to 2-1 laptops..maybe that would be a better fit ?

I think one of the best things about these devices is that the software can continue to improve. Both the applications used and the OS.
Even though the iPad Air does not have a 120hrz pannel I think it is a very comparable experience to the pro. At least for note taking, anyway.

    • @andrejcupac7359
      @andrejcupac7359 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

because it isn't as seamless as the apple ecosystem...an ecosystem should be a family in a way, they all connect smoothly and run together well, all the samsung devices just connect via bluetooth in the same way every other device does which is nothing special. it isn't fast, it isn't seamless, and the features that you get are minimal. "wow i can change my sound bar volume from my phone"...wow, not like you can do that from any other device 😂, which is why a lot of people wouldn't say it's an "ecosystem"

If I was a student (like yourself) I would choose the Galaxy Book Pro 360. Because of the reliability of One Note. If I was an art student I would pick the iPad Pro. I have a 6th gen. iPad with Apple Pencil and I think for hobby drawing the iPad is a great device for art creation as a hobby. But if you need Adobe products like Illustrator or Photoshop I would go with a Windows computer and external touch screen drawing pad like Wacom makes. As a hobby artist I prefer the iPad over a Wacom touch drawing pad. As the iPad is so portable and slim. I don't know how drawing on the Galaxy Book Pro 360 would be ? I don't like that you see the pixels when up close to digitally take notes on the Galaxy Book Pro 360.

Fair points however the book pro 360 is a laptop and a tablet so the comparisons between them maybe be skewed, I'm not sure about the tab s7 I've seen some reviews saying it is very good and it is a tablet too, so the comparisons between those two would be more fair as the iPad is advertised as a tablet not a 2 in 1 as is the tab s7.

Does the Samsung laptop not have Samsung Notes? It's a solid Top 2 note taking app for Android. It's got a ton of features.
iPad OS doesn't have a unified file system that is actually accessible to the users. It's an unbelievable limitation. I prefer the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite over a similarly priced iPad for actual work.

For me I didn’t get that kind of S pen. I got a very tiny one, so it didn’t feel very good to write on, didn’t know there was a better option!
The hinges becomes problematic-you can see in the video how you rotate it around, there’s too much pressure on one or the other hinge. So when the hinges become less lubricated, they are likely to break.
The screen concerns you mentioned were much of the problem for me. Really reflective, super thin bezels with one huge bezel combined with the 16:9
It sounds great to use it for note-taking in this way

I had a hard time to choose between samsung galaxy tab s7 and ipad air but i ended up buying the s7 tab. The s pen is just smooth and comfortable to write. But i have heard some reviews saying that the nib could be damaged after have been used for a long time/too much. But so far, my nib is okay. I dont need to replace it with the new one. And the s7 is a great tab so far.
And btw pls keep making great review like this. I like it

I'm leaning more towards the iPad mini 6 but I think it is better as a portable entertainment thing for me than a productivity device. But I'll know when I get one.

just a question about samsung galaxy pro 360. When you use it in tabled mode and place it face down, do you suggest to put it on a pad? Without a pad, do you think the keyboard could be ruined?

Just wondering if the battery level on the IPad impacted how the apple pen seemed to be slower than the galaxybook? iOS does slowdown their devices to save battery when dropping below a certain level.

Most laptops cannot take drops or things spilling on them. No need to ruin a device to test this. Buy a cover on ebay

I take digital notes every day with the iPad and the apple pencil and I personally think that the best app is the apple notes app. Although you can't do a lot of stuff, this app is extremely convenient. I used to use the Microsoft one note but sometimes I had issues with it

Hello, may I ask which mode of OneNote you showed in the video? You have like a lot of different pen options in the top of the screen and nothing else on the screen. Also no taskbar and other distracting things. How do you use this "view" or how can I use OneNote in this mode? For me OneNote looks very different and I didn't find the option to make it look the same as yours. Thank you in advance :)

@@eo4345 Yes, G suit is amazing. I already upload it. Took me 4 days to finished upload my about 2000 files (About 30 Gb). But I can't export them or sync in my phone at once. I use Flexcil in my phone to download multiple file at once but I still have to download for each folder by myself XD
BTW I have to pay extra money for Google one since my gmail for university somehow can't loggin in my phone.
Apple's ecosystem in hard to break but now I already break it btw haha. I am using OneNotes now because it can sync to my phone. Less feature but more synchronisation

I'm trying to determine if, when I go to graduate school, I should have a Galaxy tablet, ipad pro, or galaxy book 2 360, for note taking. One main point of debate is multitasking ability, and although the ipad has a good processor and many compatible apps, it can essentially only show two windows side by side. Imagine me trying to open a diagram of a research paper, while having the main body text open in another window, while writing or typing notes. On ipad, I'd have to switch back and forth until I'm dizzy lol. Also, on galaxy book 360, when you're writing notes you can't use the keyboard because its folded back. So galaxy tablets seem to be the best for me, but anyone's advice is appreciated

I'd buy last year's tab s7 or s7 plus renewed and Also a renewed galaxy book pro 360 i5. So you can have the best of both devices and also use the tab as a second screen.

2 in 1 laptops are really bad in my opinion it uses twice the processing power to run as you can use just the screen or both. Which means the laptop is going to die quicker then other pc's.

However the double tap on the Apple Pencil is pretty more preferable for me than the button on the spen. Luckily you can buy the noris digital jumbo stylus that has an eraser on the other end for samsung spen devices
