Thanks Harry, was a very uplifting day out and a section of it was new to me, always a bonus.

Good video and brilliant idea about the route! On my list now too. You deserved the pint and juice at the end. Well done!

Thanks! Another option is to take in Stuc a Chroin too and descend its SE ridge but I do really love the S Ridge of Vorlich for its setting, solitude, and the walk by the river at the bottom too 👍

Yep I should have pointed out it doesn't run Sundays but defo worth checking out traveline scotland, opens a few possibilities in the area (plus you can get to/from Callander by bus from Striling too)

@@endorphins479 I think the bus services in Scotland are better than where I live in the Lake District. We live in a remote village which only has two buses a day, it would be good to make more use of my bus pas, unfortunately it’s not valid in Scotland.

@@Jennifer.4 sounds idyllic! Apart from lack of buses. But believe me, this area is an exception when it comes to bus service in rural scotland. Its funded by local councils so there are often silly gaps between counties - e.g. you can get to one side of loch earn from perth, and the other from striling, but there's a 6 mile gap between

@@endorphins479 It is idyllic , I’m Lakeland born and bred, but my husband and I also love the Scottish Highlands.
