Your hair is looking lovely. It was nice to see Ron several times. He may be elderly, but he’s a gorgeous looking boy. 🐈💙
Love those fleeting glances of Ron and all the other things in the blog as well😊.
Hi Caroline, another interesting vlog. Your time decluttering and removing the cabinet was well spent by the look of it. Ashley not wanting to get rid of things because of memories they may hold reminded me of my daughter who is the most minimalist person. So surprisingly the things she wanted to keep that belonged to her Grandma, my mother, was her wicker washing basket that was a wedding present in 1939, and a green pot along with matching spoon, that my Mum always used for mint sauce! My daughter still uses it even though it now has a small chip. Strange the attachments we have to certain items. I still use a white towel to absorb the water when I wash my hair which was a baby towel for my daughter and she is 50 next March! When I use it I always think back to the time when she that cute little baby girl! Glad you spent time with your your Mum - precious times.
Fab vlog Caroline, thank you! ❤ Aww, Ron is gorgeous. 🥰 Elderly pets really tug my heartstrings. ❤ I hope the funeral went well and brought some comfort. Xx
Great video, can I just say your Mum is looking stunning! I can see where you get your looks from. I think you can get the baylis & harding soap in Boots Caroline.. I love my candles and have way too many of them .Lol.
Oh thank you!
Latkes are a Jewish pancake or fritter, often made from potato, and are traditionally eaten to cekebrate Hannukah. Xx
Nice to see Ron, bless him
I would love to see your candle stash lol ! Bath and Body Works candles are fab as well.
Lovely video. Nice to see your mum 😊
You can often find Bayliss and Harding in Sainsbury’s xx
I have already started the ‘Swedish death cleaning’ as I really don’t want my children to have to deal with stuff after I’m gone. I think when we are young we think it’s important to have stuff and as we get older we realise our children don’t want our stuff! 😄
Lovely vlog, it was nice seeing your mum x
Swedish death cleaning! Looking forward to more on that! A big week for you, Caroline. So lovely to spend time with your mum before the funeral. Thinking of you and your family and friends. 💕
Love when Ron has a cameo! 😊
Always enjoy catching up with you ❤❤❤❤ xxx
Your Snoodie looked cosy. Warning once you buy one you’ll want more and they sell them everywhere by Christmas. Bob and Brad have a great physio TH-cam channel so might show you how to use that massager on it👍👍👍
Ashley dismantled the cabinet, while you supervised👍proper order Caroline😉
One the subject of wine glasses - we don't drink much wine but about 15 years ago we bought a set of "large" wine glasses from Tesco. More recently we replaced them with Tesco "small" wine glasses. Turns out they are at least three times the size of the aforementioned large glasses. I'm a bit of a hoarder, I'm afraid. I think it's an emotional thing.
Hi Caroline, I just finished watching Carlla Jenkins's vlog and she was doing the almost exact same thing as you ie meeting up with her mum, going to lunch with mum and buying things for various charity boxes! I guess it's the time of year x
Ur mam looks beautiful Caroline it's lovely for you to spend time with her it's very important for you both .I got myself a cordless hover at last I can only say it's a game changer .love the vlog Caroline enjoy the weekend with will .❤
Always used to have incense burners or candles on the go but lost my sense of smell 10yrs ago at the age of 60. The description of your candles sound heavenly. I do light one now and again. STILL decluttering at this house. I hoard material because in my head it is all going to be made into something. LOL
Morning Caroline. Great vlog. Well done on getting rid of your cupboards. I can imagine there was a lot to clear out. I had a lot of crystal glassware which I never used. I eventually took it to a charity shop. Hubby is a hoarder. Keeps every little thing 'just in case'. I have the older version of the ultenic vacuum and I love it. The green light shows every little thing. I had a feeling we'd see a candle in your shopping trip. Latke is a pancake in Jewish cookery. Lovely for you to spend time with your mum. Thank you for sharing xx
ah so I was right about it being Jewish, thank you!
Nice to spend some time with your mum. Good candle choices mmmm they sound lovely. I love Ron he is so adorable.xx
Other way around for us when decluttering the loft, my partner throwing carpets, and curtains, i have been hanging onto for ten years. So the bags coming down from the ladder, was a big hint to get rid lol ....i had to oblige 😂🤣Your hair is looking fab, love the colour, it looks lighter...suits you.
Thank you!
I'm so jealous of your cooler temperatures. It is suppose to get up to 93F here on Saturday! Someone forgot to tell Oklahoma that it is Autumn. Dear Ron! I would love to know what was going through his cat brain when he found himself in your bedroom.
Love your vlog , shop ,shop ,shop . ❤
Oh wow we frequent The Bunker on a regular basis a beautiful little place xxx 😊
Oh, that's amazing! Small world! x
Love the pjs Caroline and always love seeing Ron 😊
I had some similar GPlan units as big as yours. They looked fabulous back in the day. But then looked very dated. Had to get a skip to get rid of them.
Aw bless Ron. 😻
Caroline, your hair colour is perfect for your skin tone, keep it! ❤
Thank you!
Great vlog as usual. So need to do a Swedish death clean!! I end up looking at things and saying…must do that soon!
Beautiful flowers ❤your cat is 😍 gorgeous and your hair is looking fabulous 👌
Prize received this morning. Thank you very much, Caroline.
Drogna is an anagram of dragon. Because I'm Welsh lol
I'm on the hunt for the Wickford Gingerbread candle now. Not that I need any lol.
Great blog as always. Thank you. Take care. x
Hi Caroline there's a few sets of the fireside marshmallow on vinted 😊

Oh Tammy I'm so very sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your family x
You won’t have to put the heating on with that hoodie I’ve got two of them it is lovely to wrap up with subdued lights 🎉🎉
Try boots for Baylis and Harding stuff. Love a bit of Swedish death cleaning. 🤣🤣. Thanks Caroline. A joy as always 🙋🏼🏴
Hi lovely lady xx that fireside marshmallow is part of a set by bayliss and harding caroline,ur mum looks really well as you do
When dad died 7 yrs ago, my brother who l8ved with him had to get rid of a garage full of newspapers. Piles upn piles all with post it notes on them. Dad wouldnt get rid of them just incase. My poir brother and my daughter took dozens of trips to the tip. Then there were thousands of photos we mainly had no clue who they were besides family, friends and decades of neighbours, which took my brother weeks and lots of despair to sort out. Dad was def a hoarder, including my old babymilk tins of screws, nails etc in the garage. Please dont leave your l9ved ones to declutter your dross, i am always finding something to throw, rehome, giveaway. I take old books regularly to the supermarket charity bookshelves. I am still finding shoes, clithes to take to the charity shp on a regular basis. My dear late mum was always decluttering dads dross. The house was spotless, but you had to be on your toes as he was always bringing home something he said would be useful or come in handy someday and for the most part it never did. I try not to buy much anymore, its my dread i will take after dad and leave my son an unwanted memory. We were jyst talking last night on the way back from the supermarket that we would try not to buy so many things and buy m3mories instead by going on holidays and daytrips. My spn has my dads camera and accessories, hopefully he wont have thousands of photos, lol😂❤Gill
Oh my goodness, that sounds like a lot of stuff your dad kept!
I have read diffusers I use in my small downstairs loo. I can never smell anything!
Ron has the most gorgeous colouring ❤
I’ve commented this before, but g-plan cabinets aside, you do have some lovely mid century furniture, Caroline.
Thank you, we’ve been collecting it since we moved into this house, it fits perfect as the house was built in 1964
Have a massage gun but definitely need another person to operate it for neck and shoulders- can be very relaxing- does it have any different intensity levels??
No, only the one level :)
Ron is too cute xxx ❤
Oh Caroline you crack me up - sucky bits, brushy bits etc. my sort of description. Did you sell your G Plan cabinet as they are well constructed and if somebody is into retro they may well like it. The older stuff is much better constructed than today’s furniture.
Took it to pieces to go to the tip, no easy way to get it down the stairs in one piece.
@@CarolineMrsM that’s a shame.
I always want to know how easy it is to undo the vacuum cleaner.
Surprisingly easy, this one. Easier than my Dyson, which is annoyingly tricky!
Caroline, are you aware that the oils in candles, diffusers etc can be toxic to cats and dogs?. You might want to have a word with your Vet re Ron’s sniffles
Hi, I’ve already taken him to the vet about it. It’s not candle related.
I got the fireside from Lidl’s albeit in France, it was Lidl xxx
Thanks, Jacqui, will check it out x
Aw Caroline I did laugh at your voice vibrating 😂
Me too when I edited it!
Love the pjs xxx
Don’t know if you have been told but in Mark Ferris’s TH-cam video entitled Gatekeeping etc he was listening to you. Around the 1:11 mark. I’ve seen him do this on other videos of his. He’s such a lovely young man.
Carla told me a year or so ago that I was playing in the background of one of his videos. Embarrassingly I had no idea who he was!
@@CarolineMrsM He’s a good friend of Zoe Sugg. Must admit it confused me when I suddenly heard your voice when I was watching him. He does solo travelling vlogs which are so good.
Bob and brad are two physios on TH-cam. There may be a demo on their channel.
I agree about ‘keeping things’! I get emotionally attached to things - from my boys childhood etc, greetings cards, items of my late mom & dads etc.
The I’ve found if I sort things out as best I can, then a few months later revisit the items I’m usually able to let morego. I’ve got the cards from my birth that my mom had kept, her 21st birthday cards etc. so I’ve recently gone through all the cards I have kept and just kept one from each occasion and one in my mom & dads writing etc. which was a big thing to let they all go but I’m glad I did.
My husband is never emotionally attached to anything unless it’s out of his garage or shed !!
Hope the funeral went as well as it could and you had a good weekend with William. Xx
A yogurt pot that is definitely a little unusual ❤. Hope the funeral went well very sad times ❤
Thank you, it did go well in terms of being a lovely tribute to Cam and was well attended.
My husband keeps old mobile telephones , it drives me mad. I am not a hoarder but my sister is, so I don't think it is inherited from your parents. She is so bad, if we visited her we had to give at least 2 months notice, so she could make space in the spare bedroom for us to stay over. We now just stay in a local hotel, less stressful for everyone.
Hi wonderful vlog 👍👍😊

If you watch, you'll see I NEVER look at the camera unless I'm stationary. I never touch the camera when moving, I set it up and switch it on before I start the engine. It's really no different from talking to a passenger in the car (in my opinion). I definitely wouldn't do it if it felt in any way unsafe.
