I enjoyed watching you with your mom. My mom was 80 and she unexpectedly passed away in June and I miss her so much. Watching you two together brought me such joy. My mom had a box where she tucked everything…we shred so much paper when cleaning out her house! I am not in Australia, but tell her I say hello from Ohio!

You crack me up Carla you're so funny and it was lovely to spend the day with you and your mum. I lost my mum 12 years ago aged 92 although the last 4 of those she spent in care with dementia 😞 I do miss the shopping trips we used to have together - she was a great one for taking things back so she would buy an outfit 2 or 3 times before she decided it was right - it was like triple shopping with her 😃

Great vlog Carla. I miss the shopping trips I used to take my mom on just like this, well I miss very very much all the time but this was very nostalgic to me. I visited & did things for her every day but our little shopping trips we both really enjoyed together. She said and did lots of random things in her later years too 😂

I have done all of the windows in my conservatory with the window cling (stops my nosey neighbour having a good old snoop! 🤣) So easy to do and I have to say, it has lasted so well - I did them about 7 years ago and they never peel away and I have had no issues with cleaning them

I lived in Australia for 7 years. Love the kookaburras, and seeing parrots and budgies on the Telephone lines. Would love to live here, in Cannes, during our Summer and Aus for Autumn/ beginning of our Winter. Christmas HAS to be cold for , me, though😁
It's so interesting where people are from! I lived in Germany until 21, married a Kiwi in London and lived in New Zealand until this July. My son and daughter in law have a delightful 3 year old girl here in Melbourne so I moved here this year at 71. Loving it!

I’m not in Australia, will Cambridgeshire do? Your mum is lovely 😊. I have a similar arrangement with my mum, shopping and lunch out every week. The occasional trip to doctors etc. My mum also has a virtually clear fridge but she’s always buying food stuff ‘for the cupboard’. We laugh about it because she tends to end up giving things away rather than eat them herself. I have a suspicion she might hoard bills but haven’t seen any evidence yet. Gotta love em, mums that is not bills xxx
