    Your training schedule looks great and your run up is really good.
    I am currently getting into strenght training. Currently jumping 1.90m (1.89m tall too). my max back squat is 94kg and my step up are currently with 45kg.
    Hoping I will ever reach the 2m height!

    if i pr 6' by the end of the spring season (5'4" now in winter, third time ever jumping, but 5'8" seems feasible by the end of the winter season), do i have a realistic shot of progressing to 6'10"-7' by my senior year? Im a freshman and aspire to compete for a college like Oregon or TCU. My numbers for quantitative weight training are quite low, and i have a 30” standing 2 foot vertical

    • @pnutlol1239
      @pnutlol1239 ปีที่แล้ว

      i will be jumping winter + spring all 4 years

      @@pnutlol1239 a lot of factors play a part but it's 100% possible. Stay consistent and study the sport. Most people don't understand that getting better at T&F means learning and understanding how your body adapts to training better.

      Also 2 foot vertical doesn't translate to high jump ability. Stefan Holm jumped 2.4m but had a standing vertical of 56cm (or around there).

      @@matehj I know that anything is possible, but some things in life you just need a certain level of talent to be at the very top (not everyone has usain bolt potential). What would be the best exercises to do to improve my jump and what would be a feasible goal each year for 2.13 by senior year? I feel like following an uptrend of progression steps would be essential for me to hopefully clear that illustrious 7 feet in 3 years. Or what 7 foot or 6'10" jumpers that you know had when they first started out, whether it be high school or middle school. I am about 1.84m and am projected to stop growing at around 1.88m

      @@pnutlol1239 you’re aren’t in a bad spot for your age, but don’t limit yourself to those to schools straight out of highschool, you could possibly go the juco route if you are a couple of inches off
