Hi Chris, thank you for your comment. The wood used for this demonstration was a piece of sycamore and the tool used was a 3/8" Deep Bowl Gouge with traditional grind. In the video you will see a safety disclaimer at the beginning advising the use of appropriate PPE when operating woodworking machinery, plus an additional safety on-screen message at 14:00 minutes into the video, explaining that Record Power recommends the use of appropriate PPE and our presenter was not wearing a mask mask for presentation purposes only. Is that the CL4? I am considering one but require 1,200mm between centres to turn newel posts.
