Just bought the scaper 45, it's great for the price. Will be upgrading the filter to an floor canister with some glassware & a Chihiros light

Good review, Natquascape. The silicone imperfections may cause leaks in future. It's a shame the manufacturer skimped on the silicone application.

Hi there, I think the superfish aquarium very slight imperfections comes from the fact that it has slight excess silicone however, this would provide a better seal so I am not too concerned, confident that it is really water tight.

Been trying to look into the Superfish tank for a while now and struggled to find much info. Looking forward to seeing if the light and filter are any good.

Hi there, yep...I'm looking forward to getting some hardware to get this tank setup. Hard to get plants and hardacape material at the moment due to COVID19. But hoping I can get something set up ASAP. I'm cycling media and maturing water at the moment to speed things up.

@@andywright41 mate, deffo want a lid on that. The ADA tanks come with the hooks so you can put on a lid. To be honest, I would be tempted to head to the B&Q in Sunderland or washington, see if they have clear perspex, they can do free cuts maybe on plastic sheet and then use that. Also, you can cut out slots for pipes if you have a drill and junior hacksaw. That will do a good job too. This way the tank is almost fully sealed from kids putting things in.

@@Natquascape I agree a lid will be best. The perspex isnt a bad idea, luckily my partner works for a window company and can get me glass cut to measure. If the ada lid doesn't allow for lilly pipes I'll get one made.
While I'm hear, I only discovered your channel when you commented on Mark's video. Your videos are brilliant, I've subscribed.

Get all my nano tanks on the car boot never paid more than £10 and that included light heater and filter
