As a proud owner of Yamaha Ray Z along with others and a 2 wheeler enthusiast (by heart not with specs) and a traveler I want to talk about some points here : First of all that speedo console cover which you talked about they are not cheap plastic. It's a tough built part which never turned yellowish. Secondly, This vehicle gives a jerk while crossing 60kmph after that it opens up for more which can click 85kmph (my top speed approx 88kmph on Ray z) after that it became sluggish but can stick to 85kmph for long without strain with the mileage of 49.5kmpl. it's aerodynamic design helps a lot. Third, it's aluminium wing shaped tail portion is very useful. You can simply slide on it and it withstand your bodyweight and also quite comfortable as a grab handle. This is my one of the reason to choose this scooter over others. Forth, As I already said a who am I and after working with Honda 2 wheelers for 3 years and ridden almost every scooter from every company which I've owned earlier or not owned for past few years. I can say Yamaha Ray z is a very capable scooter in between all. Fifth, Yamaha Ray Z proved itself in Leh, Ladakh and Spiti circuit too from Kolkata, West Bengal. Thank you.
👍. Problem of this is.. Back ache on long ride after 100 km. Light not bright. Poor breakes. Grab rail not useful.. Suited for short people.. Shortest scooter in the segment,I think
There are really good bikes which are comfortable even for very long rides. One I liked the most at a good price is the X Blade. Scooters generally are for city use and the suspension is not that great in majority and hence I won’t pick them for long rides. The Interceptor 650 that we tried a couple of weeks ago is great for long rides. It all depends on the riding posture, the seating comfort, the suspension, overall construction, etc.
Apart Activa and Aviator , HeroDuet is a good vehicle to manouvering in city condition ...all departments are ok ...whether braking, suspension, seat height, comfortableness, accleration just ok.
Why are they giving negative feedback on suspension ? Is this telescopic or not? I heard telescopic suspension was good... Has Cygnus Ray Z made up with telescopic suspension?? I m confused
Your videos are awesome 👌👌 Bro iam planning to buy a bike. But when should I buy it, in Dec 2018 or wait for Jan 2019. Should I buy 2018 model or wait for 2019 model? Does these things matter? Pls give your opinion on it
Specifically every year there won’t be much difference. But at times companies upgrade certain model drastically. If you are planing to get in dec you might get some promotions as it is holiday season. So if there is any particular bike you are planing to get try to find out if there is any offer now. And if you can get a good deal it might be the right time to buy. And really happy you liked the videos bro!!😊
Matte Green looks good. We didn’t get that for reviewing. I think Yamaha has some offers for Christmas. Please do check your local dealer. Hope you get a good deal.
Hi bro..... im planning to buy a scooter for my wife.... she is 5.6 ft..... we have choices of..... tvs ntorq.... honda grazia... yamaha zr.... suzuki access 125.... which one is best on this...
I haven't tested Suzuki access 125 yet, but from the other three my first preference is TVS Ntorq and my second choice is Honda Grazia. Now if you really want all the fancy new stuff with modern design and good power Ntorq is a good option. But if you want a very refined and trusted engine Grazia is the one. I will update you as soon as I get a chance to test Suzuki access.
Hi Biju. Ray Z or Alpha is better?. This is mainly for my wife. Also I will use it sometime. Her height is 5 feet. Or do you recommend any other brand?
Hi you can go Yamaha Ray Z because it is better if you both are using. And the seat height is also on the lower side so it will be more comfortable. Then Honda's Dio is also a choice.
I saw your review for all three scooters but you said maestro edge is having somewhat more vibration compare to other scooters..ok thanks for your valuable feedback.can you share pros and cons about hero pleasure if possible..because I thought to plan buy a budget scooter or any one from the three which I mentioned at last message.
Yeah maestro did have a bit of vibration on the foot board. But if you are a tall person dio will be uncomfortable. Out of the three if height is not an issue I would surely recommend to get Honda Dio. I didn't test hero pleasure but will surely update if I get a chance to test it.
My height is 1700mm..I just want to know which is having better performance in 110CC scooters...your reviews are very clear...keep it up...kindly try to make any comparison videos for the scooters you had review with pros and cons which will be nice and most useful.
It’s a scooter and if you use it accordingly the suspension doesn’t give you any stress or strain!! That’s how you decide whether it’s a good suspension or not!!

No complaints in long 5 years of hard use

True though, its mileage is worst...

Shortest scooter in the segment,I think
Yes what you said is correct.
It's suited for riders who are on the shorter side.
Didn't take it for very long rides. But short rides are comfortable.
Is scooter or bike suited for long rides..
I mean riding comfort, not the performance or speed or pickup.

Very poor braking system.
I agree you.. This is for short people... My height is 5'7 and i feel so uncomfortable riding this

Nice And Detailed Review Bro
Why are they giving negative feedback on suspension ? Is this telescopic or not? I heard telescopic suspension was good...

I had some engine issues due to riding rough, that too after 5+ years...probably the best scooter with the worst mileage!
