We did end up spending a little time in Praia do Vitoria near the base there....it was strange to hear so much American English being spoken! Glad you were able to enjoy the beauty of these islands as well.
It is so heart warming to see that there's still people who will open their homes to strangers to enjoy a nice home cooked meal. I'm sure you guys enjoyed it....everything looked yummy!
Yes, after a 5 minute conversation they said that they wanted us to come over for a meal.... so sweet of the them to invite us into their house. We've found good people are everywhere. Matt

I wish all you tubers would get in the habit of just saying the date near the start of each episode. It would be so easy, three or 4 words, “It’s June 24th and......” Anyway , love you guys. I just LOVE chance meetings. It's like a surprise smell of flowers on the breeze. A small reward for getting out and doing something. 😎

I can't recall EVER seeing someone sailing wearing jeans. Weather clothes, yes. But the blue jeans just totally popped out.
Yea, I noticed that too. On shore, yes. Cotton kills...
We always sail in our street clothes unless we need foul weather gear. And since I currently own two pairs of pants, jeans are in the rotation :)
