Here is my take on this matter as a Filipino. He or She is not entirely wrong on what was said on the video about the Philippines and the Filipinos. Just like any other countries specially those developing ones has its own flaws and Philippines has no exception. Living in the Philippines - Yes, it is true that living here can be a bit expensive due to electricity, and gasoline price hikes in which we do not have control over. However, this is only applicable if you're living in a more developed cities like BGC in Taguig, Makati, and Quezon City for example. But us living in the province, we may not have a lavish lifestyle but we are living the life we wanted and it's cheap. We plant vegestable for our personal consumption. About women- This is true and false. Those women who took advantage of foriegners is not the majority. Our women here are looking for genuine love. Now, if you're a foriegner who fall in love with a Filipina woman and you provided her with everything, trust me, you will be loved, served, cared for all eternity and I am not even exaggerating hahaha. Filipinos expect anything in return - True and false. If you're a foriegner and you ask for a service from a local like having a tour guide, are you just going to thank them for the service they offered? Trust me when I say this, if you genuinely interact with a Filipinos and show them respect, you will be embraced and will become a part of theor families. So if you're avting like we'ke kind of stupid or being an a$$hol3, then you'll get back the same treatment you gave us. To sum this up, just genuinely respect locals and this is not only for the Philppines but for every country that you will visit and you will see tye beauty of that place and the people❤
Totally agree… and to add up, Philippines is a great country but don’t expect everything is free because of the hospitality of the Filipinos. And I strongly agree, that once you open your heart and respect the country specially the Filipinos, you will get it back ten folds…
Exactly! That creator has serious issues of grandstanding only the negatives. I know some of those may happened but creating a content highlighting and exaggerating the bad is plain bitter.
I love Philippines period... Anything they say I don't care as I enjoy and love Philippines... just don't forget respect is a big deal once you step in the Philippines.period
Being a Filipino, I love those vloggers who always promote the beauty of the Philippines, because they will boost our tourism industry. We all knew that most countries have their own Pros & Cons. And if you are a vlogger you're free to whatever contents you would like on your video or channel. TH-cam has no rules or policy that you must show or tell the viewers the negative side of every country you visited. If there is a TH-cam policy that every video uploaded must reveal the bright & dark side of that country then that vlogger is telling a lie because of showing only the bright side. Please don't come to our country if you just want to tell the whole world that Philippines is unpleasant to visit, you are not welcome here. And we are not promoting sex tourism in our place but if you are looking for your lifetime partner then you can come here but be respectful to our culture. That channel wants to spike his number of views only and has a personal agenda about the Philippines, and besides we don't know how true it is that he lives here more than a decade.
I’ve been to other countries and seen the same things he mentioned. There are always 2 sides to the story and it is up to you to find the the silver lining. If you focus on the negative then you’ll never enjoy and adapt whichever place you go. You have to look at the brighter side, let it overshadow the dim ones, and appreciate them.
That's why don't expect too much when you enter Philippines..like what you said there is good and bad things happen. I think not only in the Philippines but anywhere in the world..Please be careful 🙏
Maybe because Ovela is coming to the Philippines soon and so maybe he is background checking to be aware of the country he'll be going to regardless of its good and bad side, that's actually a smart way to know the place you've never been to, and not only that it also gives knowledge to all foreign tourists, I always love transparency and all I can say is that every country has its own flaws, negative and positive sides, etc. Have a safe travel Ovela and enjoy your stay there.
Why would he accuse others of lying???! That is their own experience and perception. Lying is not telling the truth. When other foreigners say that Filipinos are friendly, there is no lie in that. They didn’t say ALL Filipinos are. When they say that women in the Philippines are caring, there’s no lie in that either! No one said ALL women in the Philippines are. He can simply title his video with “my own view of the Philippines”, and say whatever he wants to say. To discredit other people’s opinion is ridiculous!
Every country have good and bad sides but as you said not all people are the same. Hopefully you will enjoy your stay in my country soon and encounter people with genuinely good heart ❤ during your vacation and be careful 🥰🥰
Foreiner complaning living in the Philippines are costly. Yes, because Foreiner still living a lifestyle lime they live in country. And they are living in the Condo here. Much cheaper if hhey like an ordinary pilipino lifestyle, not eating in g The expensive restaurant and living in the highrise building/ condominiums. Ofcourse ,big city anyware in world are really expensive than living out big cities
No one is denying the other side of the coin. Those beautiful places Filipinos are bragging about are still true. I don't know the intention of those who made this video, but as a Filipino who wants to invite a foreigner to visit my country, its my responsibility to introduce beautiful places for tourism purposes and beautiful traits of our people and invite them to see it for themselves. Our economic problem is the least of their concern and purpose. They will come here to see our beautiful country which is still indeed true. When we say our country is beautiful, we mean its worth visiting for. Political and economic problems are no longer their concern. Let me reiterate that, that problem stays with us Filipinos alone and has nothing to do foreigners who will come to spend holidays or vacations. The video is meant to debunk our claims that Philippines and its people are generally good and beautiful. Images in this video are of course true, but it has nothing to do with anyone's interest especially foreigners to experience Philippines themselves that is generally beautiful in all aspect. I said, generally, because political and economic flaws of our country would never determine that still Philippines and its people are beautiful in general. History and international community has proven this claim.
Dude, if he is telling the truth, he doesn't need to hide his face and harsh his voice? huh? He's saying that there are many homeless here in the Philippines, so why don't you ask the homeless in the U.S. which is a very rich and developed country..?
This is true, what I can say is this is not only happening in the Philippines but I agree on this video, just accept the culture wherever you are and respect is the most important but still Filipinos are kind.
Sir ovela I know you're a brilliant person. And I wish when you visit the Philippines and do vlogging in our country you will show the trutht and only you could say what your experience was here in our country hope to meet you personally. Because this video is politically motivated
he is mentioning about the National capital region where people from the provinces converge in search for a better work but ended up homeless and jobless
That negative narratives are just singular based on his encounters. Remember that this country has 7k+ islands that have different backgrounds, cultures, and norms. Of course we have to be cautious and observant whereto go. There is no place in the world that is 100% safe and sound.
Not just in the Philippines, there’s bad and good people everywhere, no matter how safe you think the place is, there is still be a bad person. All I can say is, be careful and don’t go to secluded places….I traveled all over Europe when I lived in Germany and I’ve seen a pick pocket and stubbed the person….I lived in Asia and traveled around Asian Countries and the same thing, there are bad and good people….I’m back in the U.S and there’s bad people here too. (In fact, I think it’s worse as you guys probably seen it in the News.) So all I can tell you Ovela is enjoy your visit in the Philippines but be extra careful! I look forward to to your adventure!
i feel like all the points he said in the video are things that first world countries dont really experience which is why he was expecting too much from his experiences in the philippines. i feel like you will understand the ph more since you know what a true developing country is like unlike him.
Just some good advice: 1. CASH - always have with you a cash (Small bills as much as possible 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100) but dont bring too much cash coz you might lost it. Cash is more useful than cards. 2. Apps - Food apps, delivery apps, transport apps... 3. ID's - specially drivers license coz you'll probably drive. rent a car sometimes or rent a motorbike in the province Lastly know how to "BARGAIN" never say yes immediately. always say the lowest price or ask until you both agree on price. 😂😂😂
That's true..it happens here n our country..the only advice is..be very careful to be taken advantage of..our country is not perfect..but,there so many good people anywhere in our country..come at your own risk..
All countries have both good and bad side. Most vloggers portray the good side simply that is what they are exposed too. Yes, we have slums or informal settlers. Yet compared too America, majority of our poor have roofs over their heads.
Every country has its pros and cons ,beauty and ugliness, its just depend on how you are going to react on it and how you are going to handle it. Its not only in the Philippines but all over the world.
Not all Filipinos are like that and every country has negative experiences, especially for foreigners. Just be careful here, especially in Quiapo and Divisoria. Always put your bag in front of you.
Thank you for your reaction to our country Sir. It's okay for as a Negrense came from Negros Occidental, Philippine He said (the person in the video being reacted by you Sir ) I don't know if He didn't experienced it in his country but he said similar to other countries too. Even it hurts hearing it from the video creator Sir but it's ok for me because I proud being a Filipino not a seeker for fun, lust and even plenty of us Pinoy were poor and many of us were abuser but NOT all of us like we're you came from by county.
Just take care, because they said 2024 is the year for natural calamity so brace yourself with some of the unusual phenomena that will happen any time in the years 2024.
As a filipino,i can say that some of them is true.Philippines is not a paradise, our country had bad and good treats just like its people. When a person experiencing difficulty in thier lives, its a trigger to do bad things like robbery, pickpocketing just like that.I prefer to stay in province, the lives is much more easier.People is much more friendly maybe because its less stress, the food and air is fresh and people is heartwarming.Neighbors invited you to have coffee every morning and having a chat over until you finished that 1 cup.I dont know but having to experienced that in the province makes my day complete and its a good memory that embedded into my heart always❤❤❤
This particular vlogger, whoever he may be, tends to make sweeping generalizations that imply certain issues are exclusive to the Philippines and do not occur in other countries. For instance, he discusses the topic of homeless Filipinos, but it's important to note that homelessness is a widespread issue in various countries, including the United States. In fact, homelessness can be observed in the streets of major U.S. cities, where individuals often establish makeshift campsites. In the Philippines, such situations are relatively isolated, particularly in major cities like BGC, where it's uncommon to see people setting up tents or sleeping on the streets. One notable aspect is that the vlogger chooses not to reveal his face, which can be seen as a way of making generalized statements without taking personal responsibility or accountability for his statements.
That vlogger is a Canadian too, like Ovela, but born and grew up in the war-torn Afghanistan. He is a zealot pro-Thai and a political critic of the Philippines.
That vlogger is now called The Philippines Facts, and the ignoramus shamelessly contrasts "ugly" Philippines to "beautiful and better" neighboring countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. He likes to call Filipinas ugly, STD-stricken, users, etc. And he does this by hiding and masking his identity.
To be fair every country has their PROS and CONS. So do your research properly before going to a certain country. And make your decision from there. When you go to a 3rd world country you don't expect the same luxury as you have when you're coming from a first world country. Not all Filipinos are good same as to other human beings. I can just talk from experience how I was treated first time in the UK. I had my own expectations too and it changed. I was asked by most people the question. How did I learn English coz apparently my English is good. In my mind so these people has no clue that English is also taught in some Asian countries. Anyways we can all go on and on but at the end of the day there's no perfect world.
common theres is no perfect country. dont look for the negative it will ruin ur vacation, better to look for positive. dont put in ur mind that the Philippines is perfect lol 😂
Wherever you go there's always two sides, I'm prettry sure Ovela knows that already. Even in his own country there is good and bad, that's how it goes it's just a reality. But in totality I'm pretty sure he will enjoy his stay here in the Philippines as long as he's smart and careful. Hoping to bump in to you Ovela I'm a silent fan of yours.
The creator of this video didn't do his research. He probably based it on his own experience. Some of his points are true, yes. A lot of people who know about or visited the Philippines might already know these things. Or even someone who has spoken to a Filipino/a online. I have lots of things to say but it'd be too long.
Its just a matter of finding the right people. If you meet bad people and its too much for you then stay away from those people and be with people and friends that you can trust and can help you, so then you can enjoy and experience the beauty of the islands.
Tourism is good, but if you’re planning to live in the Philippines there are things that need to be considered. But if your visiting, enjoy and have fun.
First thing to do upon arrival... Option 1. Make sure to have a taxi service from the airport to the hotel. (Ask your hotel if they have) 2. Or... at the airport, purchase a 500 peso load for wifi/internet less than usd10 i think is the minimum and download grab... then book your transport through the app. There are loads that does not have expiry. Go for SMART... Signal is much better within the metro... 3. Or... approach the airport personnel outside and be on thr look out for the proper airport taxi service that does not charge extra. If you are staying at BGC from airport to bgc will not cost you 1,000 pesos or less than 20usd... if they do then dont go there.
One reason why my parents dont want me or dont support me if i date men from foriegn land. esp fron west countries they cant survived here. We have lots of descrepancies here. Goodluck Mr.Ovela.
What's wrong with this guy is that he is generalizing the bad things like with women. How about those foreigners who lived happily with Filipinos? There would certainly be pros and cons but I don't agree that the You Tubers or Vloggers are telling lies about the Philippines most specially when they are just Tourists or Travel Vloggers because they are just showing their amazing experiences. It's a different thing living in the Philippines and I do see that foreigners do say their honest opinions when interviewed. I myself would agree that we are underdeveloped and poverty is a problem due to corruption. But we are developing now with our current President. You would just certainly be not too comfortable and expect too much and of course always be cautious most specially when you are in a foreign place. But what I can say is that Filipinos normally respect and welcoming to foreign people coming here and there are certainly amazing places to visit. That's a FACT. 😉
this vlogger is insane most of the negative he said is also exist in other country... like in america there is more beggar and homeless compare to our country come to think of it its a richest but still there is still more homeless and beggar.
When you go to the Philippines in May 2024 pls expect very hot and humid weather. If you don’t like or not used to heat and humidity, you might have a problem. I am a retired Fil-Am living in America and frequently visit the Philippines And go there in late January and stay until early April when the weather is really nice… sort of like late spring here in the U.S.
The Philippines has been invaded and colonized by Spain, Britain (Manila only), America, and Japan. But we fought back openly, through revolts, and also via guerrilla warfare. Do you think that such an oppressive history won't leave a mark on our people? We're happy to be respected and treated fairly but we can also fight back in a certain fashion if any foreigner scatters lies and oppression again like others did in the past. So let's see if the treatment is honest and fair.
Philippines is amazing for some, but not to all. Cities are good, but if you want adventure it is great. People see it as bad, but some it’s adventure.
My advice to you is just be open minded and at the same time be careful. Those negative traits could also happen anywhere in the world or worse. Even to the most developed country like US.
It's depends on who you or were you are and if your lucky & smart street smart 😊( not everyone or place are nice ) Welcome, Good luck and happy travel to the Philippines
U should come and experience the life here in the Philippines What ever they say about our country negatively ,we'll u should behave to treat u beautifully and u can enjoy the fun
if you are looking for a good friends, come to the phillipines, and if you are looking for an enemy come to the phillipines. we filipinos are good if you are good to us.
Just a tip of advice, dont keep your valuables (cash, cards, jeweleries etc) in one pocket/place..Spread it out.I remember my dad when he came to the Philippines to visit me,he had this cloth belt with a secret pocket where he kept his big sum when he go out.He wore it inside his shirt😂
Most of the things that this guy mentioned in this video happens in big cities like Manila. I've been in many cities around the world, homeless, beggars, opportunists, pick-pocketeers, thieves are everywhere. True that there is no divorce in the Philippines, but if you are a foreigner wed to a Filipino you can get divorced--that's the law. Funny, he didn't mention about the horrible traffic in Manila which is the main problem for tourists and locals alike. 😅
Every forest are lots of snakes living in the forest, but it’s up to you to choose where to past by look for safety to walk. Same thing in every country has their own chaos. Philippines is a country you can see a different lifestyle. You just need to be smart for your own good
Ouch sir the way you said with pension can get younger woman in the province not all younger woman are poor in the province and we have lots of family in the provinces that’s are rich too. That’s just my opinion
i beg to disagree, yes there are some peeps, especially in the city that may want something from you but a lot of the peeps even the poorest have the purest heart..if your intentions are not pure clearly the one you'll be associated with or gravitate to are the same persons like you that will take advantage of you.
Update - that channel called The Philippines Truth is now inactive and the creator has made a new one called The Philippines Facts, "facts!". Well he does the same thing, even worse now. He has more than just criticisms, they're all full of anger and disgust for the Philippines no matter how "informative" he tries to pass them. Also, you will notice the same users commenting slanderous things about Filipinos and the Philippines. He still hides his identity and creates contents from stories in the comments to news that are out of ordinary, means does not represent the whole Philippines. It's important to be critical when entertaining such contents.
Sadly, we have what we call the "Filipino time" where people disrespect each other's time such as being habitually late on an event or meet-up. Or if the majority of the attendees are already in the place of the event, in many instances, it took forever for the organizer to start the event. But not all Filipinos have this kind of demeaning attitude. It always depends on the person. Another thing worth mentioning is where Japan is organized in terms of sanitation, e.g. garbage collection. Many Filipinos are wanting in this respect. So expect to see uncollected trash being dumped everywhere especially in the cities and municipalities. Marikina City is pretty much organized when it comes to cleanliness and I heard this is also seen in Clark, Pampanga, too. As far as I know, BGC is also organized in this particular aspect and possibly in other cities in Metro Manila and other parts of the country. But as a whole, this is more of an exception rather than the rule. At any rate, this all boils down to discipline. Of course, no country is perfect either. Every country has its own upsides and downsides. But Filipinos in general are honest, cheerful, peace-loving and kind-hearted people. Say for instance, expect a foreigner to get a positive response or be greeted in return (e.g. through simple gestures like hi or hello or a smile) when some random Filipinos are asked for directions or greeted.
If he is really telling the truth why not show his identity, every country has scammer, dark side and bad people, but if TH-camr says Filipino are the nicest, hospitable, friendly people I believed that, As a matter of fact Phillipines already hits its annual visitors target at 3rd quarter of this year, if we are not good people they will not come to our country also voted as no.1 country by cruise ship as destination in Asia this year, I think this man is heart broken gone broke, broke his heart, expect too much, my advice to him don't pretend to be rich, his kind of vlogging also is very controversial for curiousity so as people watch his vlog hmmmpp 😒
Bro, why not try to visit rural areas specially proud to represent PANAY island and the paradise Island of Boracay. Hope you visit early May. Since January are full of festivals especially my home town Kalibo, Aklan.
The Filipinos are very thrifty and they don't want to waste anything. Sadly this carry over in business. It is common practice to understock supplies sacrificing customer service over getting a loss from overstocking. This is especially common on restaurant businesses because of perishable supplies
Yes,,, some are positive things And some are negatives things. But experience first by Yourself,,, then have a comments ,,welcome to the Philippines sir :
As of what i watched it all boils down to a "YOU" problem he's clearly only interested in filipino women when he came here and he had a bad experience and now think this is the truth coz if it is truth then why did he stayed here for 10 years?
true we are fashionably late, its a collonial mentality that we are trying hard to eradicate 🙂;yes there are a lot of beggars specially in metro manila its a universal problem of third world country. there are pros and cons
Philippines will always have the good, bad and the ugly, just like every other countries. I bet every country in the world has their own “darkness” and “light side”. Best to just always be careful and nothing wrong with being cautious without taking away having a chance to enjoy your visit.
He's not totally wrong on his first video, in fact, the first video is very informative. but his latter uploads are mixed with slanderous and exagerrated opinions
He's talking a lot about girls/woman in the Philippines maybe He must have experienced being fooled by women in the Philippines 😄😄all countries have flaws so research should be done before going, and be carefull and mindfull, and just enjoy Philippines
Let me ask NAME A PLACE THAT HAVE ZERO CRIME ? as far as I know every places in this world have a crime rate might higher or lower than other (no one is perfect ) BUT is the PHILIPPINES the worst ? NO, I love my country it’s not perfect but we have a lot to offer than NEGATIVITIES it’s up to FOREIGNERS who want to visit EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD to be CAUTIOUS and RESPECTFUL coming to a country than have its on culture and values.
Does he expect that everything is FREE?!😅 Come to think of it ,in reverse that guy might expected too much from filipinos,he thinks he can have it all for free, didn't even think maybe those persons are thriving too😅 Even filipino- filipino, we're also careful who we trust because there will be good and bad side, not just in the Philippines but to every places on earth 😁
This white professional Filipino-content-for-subs critic/vlogger has plans of going to the Philippines. Will he be the Canadian Johnny Somali in the Ph? Will he do a performance as a critic of Ph socio-economic and political "concerns" acting out the white-man's-burden dystopia? We need more of those silly loud-mouth tourists-gone-bad in the country and catch up with Japan.

Agree 💯 percent. Well said

Not all Filipinos will help you just because they expect something from someone. There are lots that are truly and genuinely kind.
And Filipinos that are expecting anything aren't even the majority, like what the content creator of the video he was reacting to is trying to imply.
Exactly! That creator has serious issues of grandstanding only the negatives. I know some of those may happened but creating a content highlighting and exaggerating the bad is plain bitter.
Strongly agree.
I love Philippines period... Anything they say I don't care as I enjoy and love Philippines... just don't forget respect is a big deal once you step in the Philippines.period

I’ve live in USA now, and found out that USA is not great as you think. The point is there is always a dark side of the moon.

Most of the images he uses are AI and clips from other countries

You'll only get abused, if you allow people to abuse you. That happens anywhere in the world.
I think most (if not all) countries have that. Even first-world countries have beggars. Dont expect a country to be perfect.
That negative narratives are just singular based on his encounters. Remember that this country has 7k+ islands that have different backgrounds, cultures, and norms. Of course we have to be cautious and observant whereto go. There is no place in the world that is 100% safe and sound.
Love is not something you look for. Just don't look for women because there's a high chance you will get disappointed.
Just some good advice:
1. CASH - always have with you a cash (Small bills as much as possible 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100) but dont bring too much cash coz you might lost it. Cash is more useful than cards.
2. Apps - Food apps, delivery apps, transport apps...
3. ID's - specially drivers license coz you'll probably drive. rent a car sometimes or rent a motorbike in the province
Lastly know how to "BARGAIN" never say yes immediately. always say the lowest price or ask until you both agree on price. 😂😂😂
That's true..it happens here n our country..the only advice is..be very careful to be taken advantage of..our country is not perfect..but,there so many good people anywhere in our country..come at your own risk..
Sir, Ovela good luck na lang sa trip mo dito sa aming bansa.... hopefully you will enjoy your stay dito Pinas .... Bon voyage!!!
Hahahahhhahah the iconic bg infront of you. Hahahah nakakatawa pero totoo. Oo nga basta jn sa central manila kaylangan mo ng mahigpit n pagiingat .
Thank you for your reaction to our country Sir.
It's okay for as a Negrense came from Negros Occidental, Philippine
He said (the person in the video being reacted by you Sir )
I don't know if He didn't experienced it in his country but he said similar to other countries too.
Even it hurts hearing it from the video creator Sir but it's ok for me because I proud being a Filipino not a seeker for fun, lust and even plenty of us Pinoy were poor and many of us were abuser but NOT all of us like we're you came from by county.
If he has so many issues about the Philippines why he stay there for 10 years.
Just take care, because they said 2024 is the year for natural calamity so brace yourself with some of the unusual phenomena that will happen any time in the years 2024.
Awareness is the one thing you should develop wherever you may go around the world.😊😊😊
As a filipino,i can say that some of them is true.Philippines is not a paradise, our country had bad and good treats just like its people.
That usually happened in Manila not in the Island and provinces
I don't care how rich the country is there always have homeless people. We just need to be open and careful in our soroundings.
But if your visiting, enjoy and have fun.
when you visit the Philippines have a trusted Filipino friend with you.
Yes... Honesty is the best policy 😊😊😊
I know you're a smart guy ovila 😊😊😊
First thing to do upon arrival...
Option 1. Make sure to have a taxi service from the airport to the hotel. (Ask your hotel if they have)
2. Or... at the airport, purchase a 500 peso load for wifi/internet less than usd10 i think is the minimum and download grab... then book your transport through the app.
Hoping to bump and see you in the Metro!
Majority of the Filipino is in the good side.
One reason why my parents dont want me or dont support me if i date men from foriegn land. esp fron west countries they cant survived here. We have lots of descrepancies here.
Goodluck Mr.Ovela.
Well im excited for Obela's reaction or opinion when they come to the Philippines.
And i believe that not only the philippines or other third world country have down sides but also the so called fully developed countries out their😊
When you go to the Philippines in May 2024 pls expect very hot and humid weather. If you don’t like or not used to heat and humidity, you might have a problem. I am a retired Fil-Am living in America and frequently visit the Philippines And go there in late January and stay until early April when the weather is really nice… sort of like late spring here in the U.S.
its all true but i hope you know it doesn't apply to all Filipinos or other places. i noticed hes more likely describing Metro Manila.
We are not always late.... But in some situation.. We can't avoid it... Because of unpredictable traffic...
In my opinion why would a foreigner go to a country just to find or marry a girl you just met for a day or a week, just think!!
You what will i advice you sir ( to see is to believe)..😂😂😂😂 mabuhay pilipinas❤❤❤
It's depends on who you or were you are and if your lucky & smart street smart 😊( not everyone or place are nice )
Welcome, Good luck and happy travel to the Philippines
I think,he is over degrading filifinas please....yeah some are true but not most of these are
U should come and experience the life here in the Philippines
What ever they say about our country negatively ,we'll u should behave to treat u beautifully and u can enjoy the fun
if you are looking for a good friends, come to the phillipines, and if you are looking for an enemy come to the phillipines. we filipinos are good if you are good to us.
Be transparent...... Be respectful...... Don't wear jewelry.... You'll be find... Enjoy your vacation soon.... Be safe
You are different from some other reactors Ovela, thats why I like you and still subscribed you, 🇵🇭💙
The accent is still familiar. I think thats the Syrian TH-camr who always says "HELLO MGA TAO!".
Some of the points he said are sad truth. Hope the guilty Filipinos mentioned in this video get to watch and realize how terrible their characters are
Every forest are lots of snakes living in the forest, but it’s up to you to choose where to past by look for safety to walk.
I believe every country has its DARK side / Ugly truth. As a tourist, always research first and always leave 10% doubt to your surrounding.
If he is really telling the truth why not show his identity, every country has scammer, dark side and bad people, but if TH-camr says Filipino are the nicest, hospitable, friendly people I believed that, As a matter of fact Phillipines already hits its annual visitors target at 3rd quarter of this year, if we are not good people they will not come to our country also voted as no.1 country by cruise ship as destination in Asia this year,
I think this man is heart broken gone broke, broke his heart, expect too much, my advice to him don't pretend to be rich, his kind of vlogging also is very controversial for curiousity so as people watch his vlog hmmmpp 😒
Yes,,, some are positive things
And some are negatives
things. But experience first by
Yourself,,, then have a comments ,,welcome to the
Philippines sir :
As of what i watched it all boils down to a "YOU" problem he's clearly only interested in filipino women when he came here and he had a bad experience and now think this is the truth coz if it is truth then why did he stayed here for 10 years?
true we are fashionably late, its a collonial mentality that we are trying hard to eradicate 🙂;yes there are a lot of beggars specially in metro manila its a universal problem of third world country. there are pros and cons
When you gone to the Philippine you make sure you log in so I'm watching you
Sorry but wrong pilipino is not always late it depends the people and any country that you go be ready the hustle that you encounter .
As if they don't have that or experience that in their own country. Why complain somewhere else? Exceptionalism and hypocricy at its best!
Philippines will always have the good, bad and the ugly, just like every other countries. I bet every country in the world has their own “darkness” and “light side”. Best to just always be careful and nothing wrong with being cautious without taking away having a chance to enjoy your visit.
He's not totally wrong on his first video, in fact, the first video is very informative. but his latter uploads are mixed with slanderous and exagerrated opinions
hi Ovela just take care that is true not all humans here are good there is always bad people around
He's talking a lot about girls/woman in the Philippines maybe He must have experienced being fooled by women in the Philippines 😄😄all countries have flaws so research should be done before going, and be carefull and mindfull, and just enjoy Philippines
Let me ask
NAME A PLACE
THAT HAVE ZERO CRIME ?
as far as I know every places in this world have a crime rate might higher or lower than other (no one is perfect )
BUT is the PHILIPPINES the worst ? NO, I love my country it’s not perfect but we have a lot to offer than NEGATIVITIES it’s up to FOREIGNERS who want to visit EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD to be CAUTIOUS and RESPECTFUL coming to a country than have its on culture and values.
Is this foreigner still living in the Philippines?
I guess. Maybe
And yet he still manage to stay longer in the Philippines lol
I hope next time you should watch video too and reaction from different country
Does he expect that everything is FREE?!😅 Come to think of it ,in reverse that guy might expected too much from filipinos,he thinks he can have it all for free, didn't even think maybe those persons are thriving too😅 Even filipino- filipino, we're also careful who we trust because there will be good and bad side, not just in the Philippines but to every places on earth 😁
And yet he still managed to stay longer in the Philippines lol
This white professional Filipino-content-for-subs critic/vlogger has plans of going to the Philippines. Will he be the Canadian Johnny Somali in the Ph? Will he do a performance as a critic of Ph socio-economic and political "concerns" acting out the white-man's-burden dystopia? We need more of those silly loud-mouth tourists-gone-bad in the country and catch up with Japan.
And that goes for any other country
