So many Scottish guys in Moscow. I used to think I was alone and then I went to a casino showing a Scotland game one time and discovered there were loads of us.
@@scottishguyinmoscowIt's true, I'm of 1994 year of birth from Mirny, Yakutia and one of my favourite memory is how we were going with the whole art school group to a local lake to draw trees and stuff and the teachers bought for us to eat there for a day like a tonne of irn bru and sausages to fry on fire xD

As the story goes, one hot summer around 2000, Coka Cola fridges in Moscow ran out of stock. It was an opportunity that AG Barr sales folk pounced upon. They stocked those fridges with a curious new (to Russians) beverage from the land of Burns, Irn Bru. It was embraced by Russians; and the rest, as they say, is history. Otlitchno!!

been there in moscow for 18 years ( kilted Scotsman on youtube) just that i am away a lot as i work on the oil industry. we are lucky to live in Moscow and love the Scots are coming more than more. I will be back on February and will get back to doing content. Och aye the noo
Big fan of the channel. If by chance you're interested in the historical account of Scots who have lived in Moscow, id recommend a historian called Harvey Pitcher. I think it's 'The Smiths of Moscow' and 'Muir & Mirrielees' that do specifically. Muir and Mirrielees opened the store that is now Tsum today.
I found Irn bru in a mini market type place in Moscow before. Saying that, Irn Bru was much better before they screwed around with the recipe. Gotta be ice cold as well.
@@scottishguyinmoscow No worries . I did a google search and it says it tastes like a cross between cream soda, bubblegum, and orange. Others say it tastes like candy floss, ginger, or rhubarb. Any which way it sounds like a nice thirst quencher.
That first IRN BRU advert, I remember 😂😂😂. I found the pringles can be extremely expensive, like £7. Obviously in the UK we have a lot if American shops selling different pringls but they are at most £4. Next time I plan a trip to Moscow. I'll bring you some IRN BRU and salt and vinegar pringles.

Have you ever tasted Irn Bru?
Its not on my list of top 10 things to do, lol.
