Hey Jim👋 It's cool You stuck with Sasha and made the move to the new gym. 👍 Btw... Shawarma doesn't make kabobs, they make wraps (pork or chicken) they are huge here in Tbilisi Georgia too. I prefer the chicken wraps. They are written 2 different ways here, Shawarma and Sharma, but they're the same exact thing. Shawarma wraps come with many different toppings (before it gets wrapped and pressed) the one I go to has pomegranate as a topping, Tastes Great! You should try a Shawarma 👍

Hey Jim / Джим, just found your channel. My UK uni degree was Russian some 30 years ago now. My Russian is pretty rusty these days. I’m pretty envious watching you learn it for the first time! You are doing really well by the way. I lived and studied in Kazan in the early 1990s for 6 months which was a crazy time in Russia as you can imagine but I totally fell in love with the country and the language. I spent time in St Petersburg, Moscow and visited the cities along the Volga on a cruiser boat. Was last in Moscow in 2008 and visited a night club with a glass dance floor with furry white show rats running around underneath - I wonder if it is still there! You should head to Kazan for a trip if you can. You have a new subscriber here! Счастливого пути from Bristol.
Bro, you are always showing us your neighborhood near Gorky park, this block is pretty old and depressive. Show others any of new regions like Zil, Shelepiha or maybe Spartak.
Before the Ukraine conflict, I was really considering moving to Moscow. I love the place. It's really big but the transportation network is so good. One of the things in the video that jumped out to me was hearing the crows in the background.
Почему непривычно. Снежные зимы только последние лет 5-6, до этого около десяти лет шел период теплых зим. Температура прыгала между - 5 и +5 градусами, чаще была плюсовая температура и снег не успевал создать покров, он сразу таял.
We have the same in Central Wyoming, USA. Has been a very mild winter. Usually it snows around November 1, but this year it didn't snow until January 6. Temperatures were very mild until January also.
Very interesting mix of shops .The area is so clean . I'm not a city lover ,but Moscow has a certain appeal .Be interesting to see 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, last one was put anything in UK to shame.
I would recommend you visit Sergiev Posad which is an old monastery town beautiful buildings. Has a visitor centre and museum if I remember correctly. The old chap who took ur photo was a war veteran from the Great Patriotic war.He was very charming and welcoming.
If you can use public transport and feel safe, walk about and feel safe, then yes it is a good location. Not many cities { if any ] in the UK feel safe now.
Dont know if youre interested in this but it would be cool to see russia’s interest in model trainsets and the type of brands they have and products they do. Im an enthusiast and interested if its a thing there :)
Plenty of blogs that cover Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland on TH-cam. It's different, very few places do flat land, but lots of things going back to before the pyramids.
LOL, i always thought it was the color of friendship. Silly stuff of course, a color is just a color. And what about multi-colored bouquets.. some people prefer them, and yellow is a great color next to red or white

Can you please make a video about car sharing services? From what I travelled around the world, noone comes close to the Russian car sharing

I could easily survive a Moscow winter . Winter has its own kind of beauty . You just have to dress appropriately.
The price you pay for your apartment to live in such a nice location is unbelievable . You are well set up in Moscow
