Hell, even some of the lesser villains like omnipotus and doc seismic are better than everything Cecil could throw at them (though idk if that’s true of show Cecil who tends to have more tricks up his sleeve than superhero teams and reanimen)
If season 2 gets made, I think the mauler twins can definitely be an asset against omniman or any viltrumites that come to invade earth. While pretty selfish, they do show sympathy to Pete and are sad for the death of the original robot, so they may still be turned hero, if not at the very least antihero. Also, I am not surprised if Cecil recruits them to some suicide mission, mostly because he recruited the guy who made cyborgs out of humans, and that guy was much worse than them (advancing humanity technologically by making humans into unfeeling killing machines)
@@JoeFanik okay but the comic writer wants to fix their mistakes with the show so don't always assume they're gonna do everything that happens in the comics
Not having read the comic, I'd think that if they teamed up with Cecil it would largely be in their abilities as genetics experts since an open plot thread is Cecil's attempts to unravel the mysteries of viltrumite DNA. The Mauler Twins as they are now aren't nearly strong enough to threaten Omniman, but it's possible that they might steal that DNA somehow or help to create some weapon that's effective against them.
I'm surprised a billionaire hasn't tried to hire them to clone his body and copy his mind into the younger one. The billionaire then introduces his adopted ward who will be inheriting the billionaire's wealth/property/influence. Or for a dark version where a person is kidnapped, their body cloned, and the memories copied over. The copy is then interrogated/tortured while the original is left in a cell. There can even be several copies being matured at a time, so by the time they break one of the copies they can just copy the mind over from the original and start again.

The one small plot hole with them is that they still should know which one is the clone. They would rember which bed they lied down on. One would know that they woke up on the opposite bed, and know they are the clone
They probably designed it to omit certain things such as that yes perhaps a leap in logic but also omi man exists and so does immortal so it's not that crazy in comparison
Not quite. It’s mentioned in the series how it gets messy when one of them knows they’re the clone. To prevent that, there could be something encoded into the machine. Maybe it deletes the memory of which table. Maybe it creates a false memory of which table during the copy process, but leaves the original in the original.
It transfers all long term memories but probably not all short term memories, meaning that they don’t completely remember what happened leading up to the cloning.
0:45 Great Foreshadowing: Despite having impenetrable skin, their eyes are still weakpoints, just like when the Immortal put his thumbs in Omniman's eyes and they went bloodshot.
Plot twist that I could totally see being a thing: BOTH of the twins are clones, and always had been because the ACTUAL original made his first two clones at the same time from afar, and made sure neither suspected the idea of them BOTH being clones at first. Now the original Mauler perfects the process behind the scenes to ensure that, should anything happen to BOTH the twins we and the world know and love, the next batch is already alive and improved.
Actually it's pretty obvious by now that nether of them are the "original mauler" neither the original clone, The "I'm the original" it's more like "I'm the first one" It is implied that the original died long time ago and these two along the future or past ones are clones
You'd think that the genius that is the Mauler Twins would know that Frankenstein was the doctor, and it was Frankenstein's monster that needed a jolt.
I know that criminals that kill are obviously bad and we label them as monster stright away in any series but I like how they show these characters as complex as they are, they don't always use reckless violence only when it's necessary or the situation calls for it and they actually have some humanity in them or at least a bit of integrity
THey are constantly trying to outdo each other to prove who is the original, so their intelligence and problem solving abilities constantly grow. And since the more ruthless clone is usually the one who surivives (as we've seen here - one was wondering what to do, while the other simply used the first as a meatshield), their every iteration is getting more and more dangerous.

Why wouldn’t they. They clearly know what technology is, and aren’t cavemen
Hey, maybe they also know what Google is a search engine.
They would obviously know like 1 of the 3 most well known sites. Did you ever consider that they hide their research and programing/software for their machines on the dark web well enough to keep Cecil from finding it?
To further back my dark web theory, building machines quickly is one thing like they did against robot. Writing and programming code is time-consuming no matter how quick a typer you are.
They definitely lurk on reddit to destress.
This is a very strange type of immortality that the Original achieved. While he is likely dead, his clones continue to live on and learn and grow as individuals. Fantastic concept really. Its funny, I thought they would be throw away villains to set up the heroes. Glad I was wrong.
I like to imagine that robot actually did give them good schematics but the immortal was simply too angry to listen to anything or be controlled.
I like when the mauler twin knocks out Pete he has to do it two attempts because he likes Pete and does not want to rip his arm off, so he holds back and gently knocks him out… if that’s a thing 😂
He did hold back. though he probably didn’t have to play with the unconscious body
As "gently" as a full blown Hulk can be, I guess. 🤷♂️
@@hunterzoloman4003 *Yeah, that was just him being a dick.* 🤣
It’s so fucking refreshing to see a brute force villain talking about medicine, biology and engineering stuff. I didn’t know how much I needed it until I met them.
1:40 at least he had the decency to apologize.
Could have just put his hand on the scanner without him getting hurt though.
@@lol._.1450 he would've snitched, plus he ruined the chicken pie while trying to get away so its justified.
@@asiantom4935 true, your point is pretty good.
@@lol._.1450 bullshit. You dont just help an inmate because he has your arm and can hurt you. Your job is to make sure they cant get out. Your logic is so flawed in every single sense that you make byakugan users jealous.
@@lol._.1450 mean he was still left alive and relatively uncrippled, most villains would usually do far worse.
Kevin Michael Richardson, perfectly cast as usual.
In each role he played he is always one of the best voices.
Every time the twins speak I keep hearing Bulkhead lol
@@arkking552 glad im not the only one, even though he has voiced many other characters, his role as playing Bulkhead is my favorite
@@arkking552bulkhead Tartarus so many characters he's voice over the years that fit in perfectly.
Can we talk about that moment of one of the Mauler twins just blissfully enjoying the Chicken Pot Pie like a little kid?
Only the original could show such honest joy from his meal
The chicken pot pie scene gets me every time, the pure face of enjoyment
I love the fact that he didn't just assume robot's brain would be abnormal. Also apologizing to Pete.
The collar they put on the immortal wasn't built wrong, they just used the wrong password. The password wasn't the whole book, it was "the entire text of frankenstein". Those exact words. Robot was ahead of them the whole time.
The Mauler who knocked Pete out was neither of the ones who were brought back to prison, since they were cloned out of the Mauler who ate the pie and only have his memories. So techincally Petes' grudge in the end is misdirected
Thats true, but depending on how long those two Maulers had been around,, their personalities probably werent different enough to where the other one wouldnt also have done it.
I personally like to think that both the Mauler twins are taking turns wearing the lab coat
Lol I can imagine them like two brothers sharing a game system
"You've had your turn. Now it's my turn to wear the coat"
Kevin Micheal Richardson, dude's a seriously underrated voice actor.
Totally. I recognized his voice from Lilo and Stitch as Captain Gantu!
@@iiWoody He also voiced Tartarus in the Halo 2 Video Game. He voiced Joker once too. Ron Pearlman voicing Conquest, and Michael Ironside voicing Thragg would be awesome. If Michael Ironside can voice Darkseid then he can voice Thragg.
@@beazrich2.017Kevin Michael Richardson also voiced Stump Smash and Tree Rex from Skylanders and Sheriff Blubs from Gravity Falls
tbh i love his joker performance more than mark hamils
He also voiced Shredder in TMNT 2012 (The definitive version, imo).
These characters are so interesting. I love the way they seem to look at life from this eternal perspective since they can just clone eachother and live through eachother for ever
I freaking love the Mauler Twins (the animated variants) they combine humor into being supervillains.
"WHERE IS OMNI-MAN?"
It was at this moment Mauler realized they were in IMMEDIATE Danger. They surrender immediately in hopes that Immortal doesn't kill the both of them, nor do they say anything to provoke him, Prioritizing survival over whatever plans they had.
Love the Mauler twins man.

Do one for Cecil. He's one of the more powerful beings in the show
@@KingCarrot500 I only do people with superpowers cecil is human
@@KingCarrot500 in the show, maybe. In the whole verse, not really. All you gotta do to be more powerful than Cecil is be better than all his contingencies. Nolan was almost there in the show, absolutely there in the comics. And a lot of characters in the comics will be there too.
Spoilers:
Angstrom Levy, Dinosaurus, most pure-blooded viltrumites, absolutely Thragg, space racer, Allen, the flaxans, and even mark. Hell, even some of the lesser villains like omnipotus and doc seismic are better than everything Cecil could throw at them (though idk if that’s true of show Cecil who tends to have more tricks up his sleeve than superhero teams and reanimen)
He just wanted to enjoy his pie :(( HE LOOKED SO HAPPY TOO
AWWW I KNOWW :(
Maulers sympathizing with the cloning process robot goes through is pretty enjoyable
They actually die a bit later in the comic without having any real significance which is too bad. I thought they were good characters
@@JoeFanik i could totally see them changing their plot line because of how well recieved and loved they are.
8:35 *"Oh shit, here we go."* LMAO, the way Kevin Michael Richardson delivered that was hilarious.
What I interpreted he meant was "Oh great, not another dramatic goodbye scene."
Knowing them probably that too

“I ordered, I ordered….
I ordered Big Mac Meal… WHERE IS IT!”
Every time the Twins where on Screen the show got elevated. They are smart, smug, dont take shit, take shit if they have to and are just a pure delite. They are literally smarter than most characters in the show. I love them and how they never overstay the welcome. In univers and out of univers.
I’m personally happy that the mauler twins live
The way he eats the pie is adorable tho
Mauler Twins are right. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, most especially if it’s Reddit
Twin A: "It's the REAL Robot!"
Robot: 👏👏 _"[Well done. Perhaps you are the original, then.]"_
Twin A: 😏
Twin B: 😠
Always freaking loved that part. Lol!
Chicken pot pie sounds pretty good right about now
On Thursdays
I find it funny that one of the Maulers was bummed out they had to break out on chicken pot pie night
well do you see the other one eating that must be some good pie
At least he said sorry to Pete
@WungusBill or maybe they've just done it so many times that they have memories being in either bed and it just gets jumbled up
When Robot wakes up he says that he felt like he was in both beds at the same time, so maybe it has something to do with that?
It transfers all long term memories but probably not all short term memories, meaning that they don’t completely remember what happened leading up to the cloning.
I like the fact that the more they compete to prove themselves the original, the more effective their teamwork becomes
That moment of the collar shorting out and Mauler saying, "uh oh..." Always managed to get a chuckle out of me.
0:45 Great Foreshadowing: Despite having impenetrable skin, their eyes are still weakpoints, just like when the Immortal put his thumbs in Omniman's eyes and they went bloodshot.
"Ah the system isn't designed to handle these kinds of neurons!"
*literally just wire rigs the wires below the monitor*
I get the sense that was still less than ideal.
I need me a chicken pot pie now
I got my chicken pot pie, now for a big blue clone
Plot twist that I could totally see being a thing:
BOTH of the twins are clones, and always had been because the ACTUAL original made his first two clones at the same time from afar, and made sure neither suspected the idea of them BOTH being clones at first. Now the original Mauler perfects the process behind the scenes to ensure that, should anything happen to BOTH the twins we and the world know and love, the next batch is already alive and improved.
Actually it's pretty obvious by now that nether of them are the "original mauler" neither the original clone,
The "I'm the original" it's more like "I'm the first one"
It is implied that the original died long time ago and these two along the future or past ones are clones
I love the detail of the hand and wrist cracking everytime the Mauler twin waves/moves the hand of the guard.
So nice to have a normal human being actually affect and knock down the cocky attitude the mauler twin gave before getting shot in the eye.
The one in the tanktop enjoying his pie like a frickin' anime character 😂
2:15 Blud was really enjoying that Chicken Pot Pie 😂😂😂
The defeated statement:
"*sigh* ... I'm the clone..."
Always gets me.
Can you imagine creating a clone of yourself to fuck with? Gotta be fun.
You'd think that the genius that is the Mauler Twins would know that Frankenstein was the doctor, and it was Frankenstein's monster that needed a jolt.
Its amazing how much they act like actual brothers
Their soundtracks are the best on the show
Rtj bangs so hard
I don’t think the collar schematics were bad, just that they weren’t designed for such an incomprehensible amount of pure rage.
2:15 gotta love his joyful face
I appreciate that the BEST of the Mauler Twins scenes is just ALL of the Mauler Twins scenes.
These two are so entertaining, they seem like they're headed for their own show. I wouldn't mind.
This show introduced me to Run the Jewels, and I couldn't be more happy
Just the conversations they have with each other is entertaining enough for me tonlike these guys as villains
i love how this edit makes it seem like the rudy clone just kills the original rudy without talking to him
Thank you for stopping by!
Honestly, Robot might have given them good schematics, but nothing is stopping Abraham Lincoln from going to fight the guy who killed his friends
I know that criminals that kill are obviously bad and we label them as monster stright away in any series but I like how they show these characters as complex as they are, they don't always use reckless violence only when it's necessary or the situation calls for it and they actually have some humanity in them or at least a bit of integrity
Man was enjoying that pot pie
The Mauler Twins are the real protagonists
THey are constantly trying to outdo each other to prove who is the original, so their intelligence and problem solving abilities constantly grow. And since the more ruthless clone is usually the one who surivives (as we've seen here - one was wondering what to do, while the other simply used the first as a meatshield), their every iteration is getting more and more dangerous.
Blue Thanos
Maybe they should join forces with Cecil.
I hope so. They're too good to simply go to waste
7:07 don’t believe everything you read on the Internet.... kids
(stealing the Immortal’s body)
These guys are the high definition of brains and brawn
I love these guys
Big. Muacular, intimidating, super intellegent. Like what would happen if armageddon cloned himself, and gave himself the same level of intellect as braniac
“Best of” literally just put everything 😂
To be honest, those two were my most favourite, chaotic muscleheads from whole show!
Kevin Michael Richardson had to have had so much fun voicing them and basically having a conversation with himself.
"Ugh... I'm the clone."
"Yes you are!"
Actual my fav
I love them. They are like those two pirates from the Pirates of the Caribbean, except with more intellect
love this guy for me this is the coolest villain ever in invincible
I love the Maulers. They’re kind of assholes but they have a heart and morals
