When my daughter came out as gay. It hit me hard. I realized the love I have for my daughter, overcame the cultural phobia I grew up with. My mama bear instincts kicked in. My daughter is my best friend. God answered my prayers.

Jo Ann Kelly same as I grew up with Culture parents, Christian and very strict parents whom taught me about Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve then my son who is now Trans and now goes by her and she is the most beautiful thing I protect and give all my attention to I’m so happy that I’m so open minded and I took full control of my own life, my own faith and love my now daughter with all my heart. What bravery she took to come out and to go from Aidan Horsford to “Lola Haze”❤

LOL! I have a friend who has homeschooled all 3 of her Children and that is a key ingredient. Keep the kids involved in the school district they live one's activities or get them involved with other outside activities....dance, sports, music etc. Home school, Public school, Private school, Catholic school - it's all just Geography.

I'm a home educating Mother (I don't call it "home school" as I don't replicate "school" at home) I agree there is a stigma that home educated kids are weird,it couldn't be further from the truth, home educated children are far more socially aware than schooled kids in my experience, my children are amongst the world on a daily basis whilst other children are sitting at a desk!! Generally home educated kids are involved in tons of educational activities and when they are not doing that they are constantly out and about at meet ups with other children at museums, forest schools etc Home educating my daughter had brought her from a shy socially awkward child in to a bubbly bright and confident girl X

@@catL156 I totally respect your opinion.
Do your kids play in school sports. Do they have an idea where they will go to University and study something that inspires them.
I totally disagree that you think your kids are more advanced because they are home-schooled. That is just not true,,, in my opinion :)
Your kids may find it hard to assimilate into climates of Engineering, Science, Technology, Human Rescources, and Social Sciences.
But, as a Mom, I congratulate you on being an advocate,
My daughters attended BC Ministry Education School districts. Wonderful education.
One is 25 and graduated as a Civil Engineer, older is 27 - an RN at age 22, went back to University to get her Master's Degree in Health Management. Organ Transplant Team Member.
All from simple BC Education. PS They loved their high-school friend's and teachers - friends still until today :)

As someone who was homeschooled my entire life, there is a way to do it without making your kids social outcasts. I was involved in A LOT of activities. All the sports teams, dance, and theater. We were also very blessed to have a pretty large homeschool group in our community, and we’d all meet up at least twice a week. Our parents would hire teachers and we’d take certain classes at each others houses. I personally did creative writing and art. We’d also have days called “park days” where we’d meet up and just play (when we were younger) or just hang out when we got to be teenagers. They were always at parks, they’d be at a beach, lake, National park, zoo, etc… it’s usually not the homeschooling that makes kids “weird,” it’s the parent’s. Plus, there are PLENTY of “weird” kids in public school as well.

Watching all of the Beeston Videos, I cannot commend you all enough. It is very uplifting to see the the relationships you have with each other, and with your children ....YOU ROCK!!!!!! My brother and wife raised his two kids homeschooled and when they got to the high school age if there was a class they wanted to take they went and took it but they joined a lot of activities that happened in the school so they had that interaction when they got older but it was nice for them when they were younger so they could finish their homework early and you could go and get other stuff done. And Joshua is a third degree black belt it has his own karate business also and is a physical therapist, and the daughter Rebecca is a nurse works in California with a lot of renowned doctors also does cranial therapy and massage therapy. When your mom said "I asked God if this was okay, if I could accept this, and he said yes, be all in--love them both," wow. That was immensely powerful. Seriously gave me the chills. I wish everyone could hear that--what an impact that could have. And when Charlie said that you can just be yourself, you don't need to choose a side, you can be both--that was so wise. You're all great role models of how to be religious and accepting. Really really appreciated this video! Thank you :)

God clearly states in His word in I Corinthians 6 9-10 that no homosexual will inherit the Kingdom of God, there's a list stated there. Christianity is about submitting and living for Christ and the righteousness of God, whoever follows me must deny himself as Jesus said in Matthew 16:24. God bless you

I get what youre saying about "that sucks" but there is a reason God says His word is forever. There is a way to disagree and love. A lot of people like to confuse agreement with love. When it crosses into bullying, its never okay. Christians who bully and arent there for their fellow brothers suffering their own demons, dont show the love of the Lord. But giving a person all the support to live a life of sin, isnt love from the Lord either. Its about balance and respect for each others beliefs. Never compromise your relationship and understanding of God to serve people first. Love God first. And He will give you the proper tools to serve His people.

I just want to shout out Tanner and Derik for being so honest about times they were insensitive to the LGBTQ+ community when they were growing up. They easily could have sat there and kept quiet to prevent any backlash, but they owned up to their mistakes and talked about how they grew from them to become who they are now. That’s what it’s all about. We need to be having more conversations like these. I think all of you mentioned this but I really admire you guys for talking about how your support of the queer community made you question your faith. I was raised Catholic but haven’t practiced in a few years since starting college because I felt so strongly that my church’s views on the subject were wrong. I still struggle with it so hearing how other people deal with questions about their faith is so helpful. Sending love! 🥰

Hi love. I just wanted to respond to this as a Catholic to a non practicing Catholic. I’m so sorry you felt that our views were non accepting. I don’t know your story or background but I will say that I grew up EXTREMELY Catholic. About as Catholic as it gets. Homeschooled Catholic curriculum and then when I did go to school a private Catholic one. All that to say… I was taught to love and accept everyone for who and what they are. I’ve heard homily’s from priests multiple times voice that we are to love and only love. Everything is always between Christ and that person and He is the only one that can judge. Catholics shouldn’t be taught to outcast anyone for their sexuality and where I’m from we’re not taught that. I sincerely hope you find your way back to the church one day and find a Catholic community that practices the way Catholics should be. We have such a bad rep but it usually stems from people not understanding our faith and even Catholics not understanding our own faith. Much love!

the Christianity and Acceptance conversation might be controversial but honestly... it's the acceptance and love that we should talk about. God loves everyone. God always teach us how to respect, how to treat human beings with kindness. So whatever it is that you believe in, sin or not, it's how we as the family and friends treat other humans with kindness. it's just as simple as that. About judgment, sin, what’s right or wrong is not in our human right to judge

I do agree with you. We as Christians ( I am not LDS BTW) are taught to love one another. Repent our sins and sin no more. And love your neighbor, but above all love God. So I am just trying to understand how we can practice our faith and be faithful to the Lord's teachings knowing we are pleasing him or worse, knowing we are displeasing him in our words and actions on a daily basis. Now this may be direct and absolutely no disrespect to the adults on this video vlog, I can only assume they do not wear the temple under garments as faithful members of LDS?? Or maybe the adult men here have not gone through the requirements yet that are asked of their faith as LDS faithful. Simply wondering and trying to not disrespect or offend anyone, but curious just how they do come to grips with it all
The figure of speech "You can't have your cake and eat it too" really comes to mind here. We all slip and sin probably everyday to some degree and it can be a difficult journey for us.

God made gay people because of children upon this earth that so called straight people don't love the gay person will raise them and give them a loving home to live in also the Holy Bible says to stay with your own kind unless you ( appropriate ) is wanting to give birth yourself I hope this made some since 🌠 2022 👣

I have to respond to the comments about Homeschooling your children . . .My daughter has 4 kids, she has homeschooled all 4 of them. The oldest one has graduated and now is working for a great company with a family of his own, the next one has also graduated and is now in his 2nd year of med school and is also married and the next one is a girl who is graduating with a 4.o grade point average and is going into child development and the last one is a boy who is a freshman in high school. Each one of them has been enrolled in outside curriculum like soccer, basketball, volleyball the key for them to be successful is to give them balance of your teaching and then outside interacting with peers. If you'd like to get in touch with her so she can give you some advice, I can help you with that.

    I LOVE ALL the Beeston's!!!
I am So Happy to hear that Sarah's gay brother & partner are wholy accepted & Loved! I am quite shocked actually, because the Mormon Religion is usually Extremely Conservative.
I have denounced my "formal" faith, because of it's limited inclusivity.
Several of my BFF are gay, and they are WONDERFUL people!
I judge people on their Character, Alone! I DON'T care what color, or how they identify.
I find so much inspiration from BOTH channels of Beeston's. There is an incredible wholesomeness with you all, and it is very endearing to me.
BOTH Beeston men are exceptional husband's & Father's! This is So Lacking in our society! "Men" are largely "boy's in men's suits". This IS a REAL problem in our society!
If there were more REAL men & women, like ALL of the Beeston's, the world would be a MUCH Better Place!
    God Bless you ALL!!!! 🙏🙌💞
