Thank you Sage!! I feel I’m an intermediate player and this helps me also……… It also sounds like the intro to Wooden Ships from CS&N or Gimme back my bullets from LS 😊😂
Incredibly helpful lesson on strumming patterns! Breaking down the importance of learning a popular strumming pattern as the foundation for mastering others is a game-changer🎸🔥Thank you for another great video!😃
We bought this guitar for our youngest son for his birthday. A black on for our oldest son.I need to be consistent with my strumming. Its frustrating. One time i can get through a song no problem, next time i screw up! Going to go over your video a thousand times if thats what it takes
I remember learning that pattern and feeling like I almost fell off the chair because it seemed so unnatural to miss a down beat
Indeed! Most students do. Thanks for sharing.

i dig what you're sayin
Counting down on the beat works on 8th and Quarter note strumming. Throw a 16th note in. And the game changes..
My problem is applying this strumming pattern to actual songs

One of my favorite guitar players besides YOU. Has nothing to do with what we do. She is one of my favorites Ana Vidovic. Forget about it.
That is so kind! Thank you so much Lloyd. Thank you for the recommendation.
I’m learning a couple of songs by the Eagles so I’m always using this strumming pattern I love it🏴👍
👍
Thank you. Always appreciate your insightful training.
I appreciate that, Mark!

Start out playing slow. Over and Over. Once you really know the song.. Then you can speed up.
That was great. I've known that pattern for years, but never counted it like that. Thanks!
So how did you count it then?
Happy to help!👍🙏
