As a 49ers fan, I never put my full faith into them. They've had some good squads over that past 15 years but I've been let down too many time postseason. They have a off switch or something. This was a rough game for me as a 49ers fan, you don't want to see the Lions lose. My childhood thanksgivings were often spent rooting for the Lions with my Dad. This was a rough game for me as a 49ers fan, you don't want to see the Lions lose. My childhood thanksgivings were often spent rooting for the Lions with my Dad. Not to mention that it would help the city of Detroit which I'm fond of. As Detroit fans, damn that hurts but your team put up 31 points against arguably the best defense in football. And would have put up more if your coach were a little less aggressive on 4th down. There is a silver lining to this. Lions will be back, I know it.
