I just wish my dad was still alive to see his Lions now. He passed away 3 years ago at 88 years old. He was a Lions fan from when he was a little boy. He was so loyal to them even when they were losing. He would have been so over joyed to see them play like they do now. I am taking his place now and am so totally into the team and supporting them. The greatest move Sheila did when she finally got to run the team that she always loved, was making a call to Chris Speilman. He helped her pick all the right pieces. Always admired Speilman, he went through some very tough challenges. It broke my heart when his wife passed away. Incredible human being.

This really is a top down philosophy where the next hire trickled down from the first hire. Players want to play here and and not all can. I bought into Brad and Dan in 2021 when they were hired as a 40 plus year Lions fan. I became a season ticket holder in 2021. I upgraded my seats 2022 . I went to the Lions vs the Packers game in Jan 2023 to watch them keep the packer out of the playoffs, seats at the 50 yard line row one beat them. I then went to the Lions vs Chiefs game to start the 2023 seasons. They maybe haven’t been to the Super Bowl yet, but they will. GO LIONS!!!!

Watched every game with my dad growing up, many times going to bed that night so sad and disappointed that i told myself i wasn't going to be a fan of them anymore but within a couple days i couldn't wait to watch them again. This is the best MCDC video I have seen since it is the only one, that I know of, which focuses specifically on his leadership. When this is all said and done, Dan Campbell has a chance to go down as one of the the greatest examples of leadership in sports history. Great job Mike! Even when the Lions went 3-13-1 in 2021, I could tell that Campbell had won over the locker room and the players wanted to win for him. My only hope was that he was also a good X's & O's guy. Thankfully, he was.
Fan since 1970. I had a Lem Barney poster on my wall of him fair catching a punt. Wrote the team and got what passed for swag back then, a black and white roster photo. Landry was my hero, I loved when he would hook up with Charlie Sanders on those over-the-shoulder bombs. Yes, it's been a long haul, never wavered; hopefully this is the year!

Then the merry-go-round of QB's and sometime playoff teams such as QB Eric Hipple and RB Billy Sims with guys like Doug English, William Gay and Al "Bubba" Baker on D. Then came first of two HOF players who were THE BEST at their positions during their own time in the NFL; RB Barry Sanders and one playoff win with no Rings! After all the playoff hope and heartache of the '90s then another dry spell until the Lions drafted QB Matthew Stafford! Only with WR "Megatron" Johnson did Stafford ever reach elite status. To do what they have done, to so completely turn the ship around and become this cohesive skilled group that wins, and to do it in such a short time is incredible. I know other teams have turned around from losing quickly too and even faster than we did, but not with our history. Not with 60 years of baggage and hell being drug along. To really think about it, Sheila took over a team that was saddled with bad contracts, little true talent. No self respect or esteem, no one working together in the front offices. And she changed that whole vibe promoting working together and identifying good people, hiring them, giving them the tools to work and letting them do their jobs. And standing by them. Holmes took over a team that was a mountain of bad with no talent for scouting talent and the right guys. And overnight it felt like he righted the ship and drafted us so many guys that are so exciting to watch, talented and the right mindset. Cleaned up the contracts to have us set to be able to keep our core together for a long time. And works so well with Campbell like they've worked together forever. And Campbell, what a freaking dude. To take over the worst culture, so many years of failure. And to embrace the challenge and to do what he's done to make us a winner, a place people want to come to. He makes us all want to suit up and run through walls all day for him. To be a fan through so much suck and to now get to experience success, so thankful those 3 came together with the vision and leadership to make this happen.

45 years of watching failure, heartbreak, and frustration. To see where the Lions are now is amazing. There is a level of leadership on this team I have rarely seen in the NFL and certainly not with the Lions in my lifetime. I have a lot of respect for Sheila and the administration of the Lions. Everybody from the hot dog vendor to the owner are all pulling together.
I’ve been to Dallas cowboy fan for 61 years last year. I finally had enough of Jerry’s world and I gave my lamb jersey away not knowing what team I was going to choose, but just knowing I’m done with the Cowboys. My dad went to A&M when there was just leather helmets and I was born a cowboy fan watching Don Meredith then I stumbled upon Dan Campbell given a peptalk to the lines in his first year later to find out he went to A&M and played for the Cowboys and I saw the way he was talking to his team And I said this is my man and this is my new team not even knowing all the players on the lions. All I knew was Jared Golf that’s all I knew so I am so proud to be a lions fan also in high school where I played football we were the lions, not to mention the line of Judah because I have some Hebrew blood so let’s go all the way to the Super Bowl baby!!!

Telling me how nice the city and the people are here, and how they plan to come back. They also talk about the Lions and how they are new fans of the team, where can they get Lions gear, etc..The rebuild of the city, and team, is what we needed! I remember Detroit being 1 of 32 NFL teams. We never got talked about unless it was the Refs fuckin us over, and even then it was a 3 minute segment. Now to see so much content, so much hype, and to actually feel it too. Detroits changing, its getting better and I love watching my once great city rebound

This is the best MCDC video I have seen since it is the only one, that I know of, which focuses specifically on his leadership. When this is all said and done, Dan Campbell has a chance to go down as one of the the greatest examples of leadership in sports history.

Even when the Lions went 3-13-1 in 2021, I could tell that Campbell had won over the locker room and the players wanted to win for him. My only hope was that he was also a good X's & O's guy. Thankfully, he was.

Fan since 1970. I had a Lem Barney poster on my wall of him fair catching a punt. Wrote the team and got what passed for swag back then, a black and white roster photo. Landry was my hero, I loved when he would hook up with Charlie Sanders on those over-the-shoulder bombs. Yes, it's been a long haul, never wavered; hopefully this is the year!

Then the fans of my generation remember the '70 team that lost 5-0. to the Cowboys with the guys Greg Landry, Mel Farr, Charlie Sanders and Lem Barney who were household names in Motown!
Then the merry-go-round of QB's and sometime playoff teams such as QB Eric Hipple and RB Billy Sims with guys like Doug English, William Gay and Al "Bubba" Baker on D.
Then came first of two HOF players who were THE BEST at their positions during their own time in the NFL; RB Barry Sanders and one playoff win with no Rings!
After all the playoff hope and heartache of the '90s then another dry spell until the Lions drafted QB Matthew Stafford! Only with WR "Megatron" Johnson did Stafford ever reach elite status. Oterwise as said Johnson was THE BEST at his position in the history of the game.
What Lion fan would argue that? Most out of town fans deny it...
...still no SUPER BOWL & multiple playoff losses.

To do what they have done, to so completely turn the ship around and become this cohesive skilled group that wins, and to do it in such a short time is incredible. I know other teams have turned around from losing quickly too and even faster than we did, but not with our history. Not with 60 years of baggage and hell being drug along.
To really think about it, Sheila took over a team that was saddled with bad contracts, little true talent. No self respect or esteem, no one working together in the front offices. And she changed that whole vibe promoting working together and identifying good people, hiring them, giving them the tools to work and letting them do their jobs. And standing by them.
Holmes took over a team that was a mountain of bad with no talent for scouting talent and the right guys. And overnight it felt like he righted the ship and drafted us so many guys that are so exciting to watch, talented and the right mindset. Cleaned up the contracts to have us set to be able to keep our core together for a long time. And works so well with Campbell like they've worked together forever.
And Campbell, what a freaking dude. To take over the worst culture, so many years of failure. And to embrace the challenge and to do what he's done to make us a winner, a place people want to come to. He makes us all want to suit up and run through walls all day for him.
To be a fan through so much suck and to now get to experience success, so thankful those 3 came together with the vision and leadership to make this happen.

45 years of watching failure, heartbreak, and frustration. To see where the Lions are now is amazing. There is a level of leadership on this team I have rarely seen in the NFL and certainly not with the Lions in my lifetime. I have a lot of respect for Sheila and the administration of the Lions. Everybody from the hot dog vendor to the owner are all pulling together.
I’ve been to Dallas cowboy fan for 61 years last year. I finally had enough of Jerry’s world and I gave my lamb jersey away not knowing what team I was going to choose, but just knowing I’m done with the Cowboys. My dad went to A&M when there was just leather helmets and I was born a cowboy fan watching Don Meredith then I stumbled upon Dan Campbell given a peptalk to the lines in his first year later to find out he went to A&M and played for the Cowboys and I saw the way he was talking to his team And I said this is my man and this is my new team not even knowing all the players on the lions. All I knew was Jared Golf that’s all I knew so I am so proud to be a lions fan also in high school where I played football we were the lions, not to mention the line of Judah because I have some Hebrew blood so let’s go all the way to the Super Bowl baby!!!

I’m a Uber driver here, born and raised in Detroit. So many people from other states that visit, tells me how surprised they are of the city. Telling me how nice the city and the people are here, and how they plan to come back. They also talk about the Lions and how they are new fans of the team, where can they get Lions gear, etc..The rebuild of the city, and team, is what we needed! Ive always been proud of my city, but never felt so proud like I do now!! Go Lions
