Great to see Jim and Abe! And, he’ll always be a pitmaster to me.
Our current favorite camping items are the Solo Stove and all the great cooking attachments -- pizza oven, grill top, griddle. Fantastic! One thing that I proudly presented Rod for Christmas one year was the Levelmate Pro, which has joined our growing pile of "unloved gifts." He defaults to a little bubble level, and we've never had the patience to figure out the Levelmate, or set it up properly!
I was just looking at Weber charcoal grills last night thinking thoughts very similar to the ones Jim described. Words of wisdom. Grill chucking 😂😂 Very enjoyable podcast, thanks.
We started camping because our oldest wanted to fish, and I was never well prepared enough to get there early enough in the morning. I thought if we got a tent, we could camp the night before at a state park that was nearby. Was never intended to be a full family activity. Until my wife stunned me and said she would go. After 4 years of a tent we moved to a pop-up, then after 12 years of that, the kids were no longer going and we got a hybrid, and the last 3 years we have had a 30' TT. Each period in our camping life was the right for our needs at that time. Kids, a desire to not sleep on the ground, a bathroom a few steps away, a fully enclosed rv, prime pooping position, shower big enough that I could actually move around in and the curtain didn't cling to you. All these things change or you find out that they are important so you adjust.
Wasn’t the lobster rolls the big draw at the Columbia Harbor House in MK? Maybe you can revive your CM status and work at WDW in the winter 🙂

Why do followers think TH-camrs should make life decisions based on what the followers want you to do? They can just move on if the channel no longer appeals to them…sheesh!
