God this Spring '02 tour was incredible.

I first saw DMB in 95, 96, 97, 98, 01 and 02 I lived close to SPAC. I think this one song is better than all those shows combined. This is another level of spirit.
The Busted Stuff through Rapunzel during this show is one of the best stretches of live music I've heard from them

Never forget about the Shantee a local Ohio band from Columbus 1999-2004 that i fell in love w in some ways more than Phish and DMB combined because they were local and still real and had not let Hollywood greed or fascism or liberal agendas like the Mockingbird Foundation to cloud the good music The Grateful Dead were amazing but Phish and DMB are too popular to be true great artists and i see it all the time The best get swallowed up by lies and hypocrisy and the 2nd best like the Shantee never get to see greatness because they are too pure and love the artform and the lyrics and the outdoors more than stadiums filling seats and greed and for that reason their music is better and will never get the soundboard greatness it deserves The Shantee I miss you every day your music was pure In the Nick of Time was the best song ever written followed closely by It Wasnt Our Time and Not a Day Goes By

Best Bartenders are w Butch Taylor and he is miles ahead of Buddy not so Strong even on The Lovely Lady song Gospel tunes like Everyday Stay watsting time and Angel even on those songs Butch knows the piano and is the Chairman of the BOARDS long before and always will be the CEO of DMB Pianoman They do not have a Paige McConnell or Ben Folds or Elton John or Bruce Hornsby Buddy is strong in his biceps but not in his musical abilities just saying I say it like it is I love DMB even today without my favorite instruments Piano and Violin lacking it is still a solid band The latest album is AMAZING it is all all all about sex the entire album minus the title track and 1 other is a lust tune The other two are hopeful unlike their earlier shit which is depressing as fuck like Busted Stuff Everyday minus the title track and even earlier they were dark as fuck w Typical Situation and Pay for what you get Please KNEES father please!!!!! I love the tie in w wizard of oz but after Butch left so did the creativity and then he met up w a heroin addict Trey Anastasio and made one of the most depressing hopeless albums ever and then Phish broke up and DMB almost did due to SOME DEVIL infecting both . . .called hard drugs but luckily my favorite band which was never DMB it was always Phish and Eric Clapton and Pink Floyd Bob Marley and the Wailers David Bowie Caedmons Call Third Day DCTalk 2Pac Allison Krauss Oasis Coldplay U2 Midlake Tori Amos Fiona Apple Radiohead Nirvana there are so many great bands outside the jam world RHCP are still making music in 2022 April Fools day one of the best albums ever 20 yrs after Blood Sugar Baby Sex Magic aaaa Sex Magic
