2021 Nova LFS HEV 9889 M101 to East Village at 145th Street/Amsterdam Ave

Here is a 2021 Volvo Group Nova Bus LFS HEV, 9889, operating on the M101 local bus route to East Village (3rd Ave-6th Street) via Amsterdam Avenue, 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. 9889, along with several other LFS HEVs, XDE40s, and even a Next Gen (4694) were loaned to Tuskegee on 1/19/25 to replace their articulated buses, which were grounded due to the snowstorm. Tuskegee does have their own LFS HEVs, but not enough to cover the M15 and M101-M103 routes when their articulated buses are grounded.
LFS = Low Floor Series
HEV = Hybrid Electric Vehicle
9620-9784 (165) are Base Order Units, while 9785-9910 (126) are Option Order units. Together, they make up the 291 bus order of LFS HEVs.
Manhattanville has around 139 LFS HEVs in its grasp at the moment, while Tuskegee has 17.
