at 15:16 i always thought kusa was meant to be the sound effect of laughing "kusukusukusukusu" and it was similar to that so the japanese use it. didn't expect it to be because of grass irl. i learned something new today, thank you for translating!
I am not really sure too well since it's not an official word so various theory. But sometimes they also use 草が生える(Grass growing) which also means funny so i think it's more to the grass meaning
I think it's because people type wwww, short of warau（笑）that mean laugh, which is Japanese netspeak for lol / rofl / lmao.
Because the term "wwwwww" looks like grass, so it also shortened into kusa (草)

I think your translation at 17:20 is right. It sounds like the ○○ part he is saying is リスナーさんから so it's something like "I think of it as a gift from the viewers." He's saying something like that, I think. Belmond really is a nice person, isn't he?

I had a hard time watching your subtitles when you place you TN notes everywhere. I mean it's fine but most of the notes are just explaining your interpretation of it and the such and it really gets in the way as I have a tendency to pause the video and check if it's anything important. For next time maybe you can instead just put something like "TN: 1" and people can refer to the description.
