The Demco AD20 I have too. If you put your thumb past the sharklock on the blade and apply some force while cutting sometimes the thumb tends to disengage the lock. Therefore I stopt using it.
Doesn't it require quite a bit of travel to actually disengage, though? I'm not a huge fan of the model, and haven't used it a _ton,_ but I remember my concern about that happening going away not long after really working with one
😁killer blades&killer vid King Junkie!! i got an old Western fixed skinner from a antique shop yesterday&its still has factory edge. sheath is in great shape&the stacked leather handles are mint so along with Voyager XL thats what i carried today.
I recently got a Cold Steel AD10 and yes from the get go it inspires confidence. Robust yet feels nimble. If stranded in the woods and had the AD10 I would be ok with that.
Bob, thanks for sharing with us those iconic pearly gate blocking champs. When I realized I have practically none of them, my anxiety level peaked, and I started to lose confidence in my survivability. Then I remembered how many large Cold Steel folders I actually own and a feeling of warmth, peace, and invincibility enveloped me. 😅
This is one of the best topics you’ve talked to Bob!! Of the current collection, I’d trust my life to: the Emerson Vindicator, Spartan Harsey Folders, XM-24, Inkosi, Praetorian, Socom Elite, and the Recon 1.
Picks up freedom ringer and starts towards the red flag waving communists. Where are you going? I just want to talk with them. Come back… I just want to talk with them….
My pocket carry for the last month has been the Spydie Manix 2XL in brown micarta.
Great knife!

I’ve been enjoying your channel for quite some time. Thanks for the heads up on OG👍🏻
I wish Emerson would do more of the “super” series.

I believe the channel that torture tests the Microtechs is the Xring channel. His videos are what solidified my faith in otfs for daily carry
Where did you get the OG Enforcer Red Dawn Ed… I did not see it on the website … that is seriously cool.
