This is just so impressive and cool! I can recall when you first debuted your brilliant Legolas system & things have only gotten better over the years since... Very nice! However, I think it's a mistake to have the 60 lbs throwing arm as standard, instead of the 90 lbs throwing arm. Let's be honest, 95% of people ordering this are adult men, so I don't think the 90 lbs would be a problem for many (if any) when cocking it. I did order one, but now having second thoughts since the Revo7 (with 90 lbs arm as standard) has just been launch and at a slighter lower price too! The interceptor does look better, but is significantly weaker and slower. Sure, I could buy a 90 lbs arm at an extra cost of $93 (with shipping and tax) but that would then make it significantly more expensive than the Rev7! Decisions, decisions......
That’s how they make money 😂, i think i spent $400 in upgrades and another $150 on add ons for my cobra adder. But for both your going to sacrifice power for speed and vice versa. I love these tactical crossbows, better than a gun
You should get the 120 lb limbs. Sur hope they come up with something even stronger. I use the 190 lb Venom limbs on my Adder. I even twisted the string to make it 220 lb!
@@SciD1 yes every little bit counts, even lube the rails to reduce friction. The key for the venom is heavier bolts, its going through frying pans now.
Joerg, could you please do a comparison test of cocking speeds between 35/75/120? Also a penetration test with the same bolt type (warbolt/bodkin) at 30m? That would be so cool! Thank you for considering.
I am glad to say i got my pre-order in the first batch! Also, it makes it so people don't have to buy a whole new crossbow but they can still get an anti dry fire system. Regardless this is one of the best things you've ever made in my opinion.
I have an idea for a last shot hold open! Just have a metal pin that moves in the magazine upwards as it empty’s and when it’s empty it sticks up and blocks the string from being cocked!

First off, this thing seems pretty awesome. A few years ago, I had to decide between a Stinger and an Adder. I chose the Adder because ofnits superior power, accuracy, and build quality. But it was a tough decision, as I really like the size of the Stinger. Had the Interceptor been available then, I for sure would have got one over the Adder. It might not be quite as powerful (with most powerful limbs on Adder), and slightly less accurate, but the under mag design and capacity is just so great. And based on what I just saw, this thing is plenty powerful and accurate enough. I’d like go with 90lb limbs, but I’d try the 120 as well. All that said, the Adder is a great tool, and I will not be replacing it with the Interceptor..:not yet anyway. Man looks great but yeah the ammo may be the only glitch with the whole kit but at a certain distance it's not a problem at all and it's great that you can use different bolts to trial out longer shots
I wonder if the bow limb could be mounted on a slide so the tension/stroke length could be adjusted? A small amount of movement forward or back would have quite an effect on the power of the bow and the force needed to cock it.
you would also have to change the limbs of the hocks that catch the string. And the movement of the lever action is also going to be important. Currently the lever action moves the hooks just enough to catch the string. Moving the limbs further forward they would not reach the string. Adding longer limbs on the hooks would mean they cant pull the string back far enough to the catch. So it's not just moving the limbs that would have to be done.
This is awesome. Unfortunately, I can't own one. In my country crossbows are considered firearms. Bows do not. Exchangeable magazines for the Fenris is something I dream of. :)

Weiter so.

Nice, I'm tinkering on placing an order, just wish those extra magazines were a bit cheaper £150 seems a little steep in my opinion and it would've been better if the screws & magazine were black and matched with the rest of the crossbow, shouldn't have to be moding it yourself especially if you're paying £600 to begin with and I'd have liked a folding stock instead like the stinger M10.
not sure about the cocking mechanism.. but its definitely a creative solution. im not sure how else you could do a magazine fed crossbow so this is a very interessting design. I just hope the folding bars are steardy enough. Would kinda blow if they bend easily
Texan: So your saying you have a “lever action crossbow” No it just a mechanism that cock the crossbow Texan: so a lever action crossbow!. No it’s- Texan: I’ll take your entire stock in the name of yee haa
Is the power inconsistent or something? When shooting the 18 shots around 17:00 two bolts hit the target and fell to the ground. And happened earlier in the video also
I made my order like 10 minutes after I got the mail from the german shop telling the Interceptor was in stock. My batch is for delivery in November, but I recall the US had a batch aimed at October delivery when sold in June on the US shop. Did euros get an October batch at all? Out of curiosity.

What is required for a Dutch person to buy stuff in his store ? Or a general store that deals with selling product when there is a certain expectation of the knowledge of the buyer. Comment sence. It's the EU free roaming of goods and services but I'm often confused. And although I perfectly understand spoken German, reading is ok isch but filling in official documents and have in depth conversations on German is quite hard, I can manage but just barely. And yes everybody speaks and writes English for these matters it is important to go with the flow and speak and do as ,even broken German, showing good intent and respect.
Hallo Joerg, mein deutsch is schrecklich, so english .... I love your channell and your videos, same as LOVE your ideas - both your obviously genious, and those obviously whackier. In later years, i began to fear, your channel do orient itself heavily in the direction of your repeating concepts and act as kinda "advertisement channell" for them. Do not take me wrong - i DO love your assalut crossbows and bows, but it is pretty narrow topic when comparing to your previous videos. Do not fear to come with a "whacky" video or two in a month. BTW, have an idea for you, for new attachment to the crossbows, to allow regular crossbow operate as assalut crossbow. Basically fasten your crossbow into the device, pick a different version of the magazine (even a "drumm - like" ABOVE the crossbow string, laying bolts by rotating inner tube with "padles" inside a slightly bigger tube with one slid opened) Of course, something different for a pistoll crossbow, and something different for heavier crossbow.
Could the front end be made lighter with a reverse limb configuration? Of course, the required cams will increase cost and complexity somewhat, but I understand they can provide a longer power stroke without increasing the size of the crossbow. Perhaps it could be an interesting variation.
@@SlingshotchannelI always thought reverse limbs were easier on the strings due to the even action, but that certainly makes sense. Is it due to the nock being a small point of contact, or could it be alleviated with a trigger mechanism with a gradual curve contacting the string?
I’m concerned about Canadian Customs having a problem as they did/do with the Stinger. If shipping is directly from the USA to the Canadian customer then it’s hit or miss with Canadian customs problems.

Awesome Joerg, but happened to, “Let me show you its features”?
not sure about the cocking mechanism.. but its definitely a creative solution. im not sure how else you could do a magazine fed crossbow so this is a very interessting design. I just hope the folding bars are steardy enough. Would kinda blow if they bend easily
Texan: So your saying you have a “lever action crossbow”
No it just a mechanism that cock the crossbow
Texan: so a lever action crossbow!.
No it’s-
Texan: I’ll take your entire stock in the name of yee haa
Is the power inconsistent or something? When shooting the 18 shots around 17:00 two bolts hit the target and fell to the ground. And happened earlier in the video also
@@ckhaos420 yeah those bolts look light, probably going to need heavier bolts to get better penetration
Interceptor vs Adder vs Siege...
also do you forsee eithier the interceptor or the revo coming out with reverse limbs any time soon ?
i 3d print my practice bolts because its like having infinity ammo ♾
Crossbow of the future.
****which is easier to cock at 90/120 the intercepter or the revo ? i really need to know so i can decide which one i will purchase. thank you

I WENT TO ORDER BUT REALIZED SOLD OUT TILL DECEMBER. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE MORE IN STOCK
Thank you.
TAKE MY MONEY PLEASE
I made my order like 10 minutes after I got the mail from the german shop telling the Interceptor was in stock. My batch is for delivery in November, but I recall the US had a batch aimed at October delivery when sold in June on the US shop. Did euros get an October batch at all? Out of curiosity.
520 euros without the scope. probably you have get extra strings. I am not sure about the cost. It seems expensive
Nice! I was wondering if you would go up to 100lbs or more, the fact that there is a 120lbs bow now makes it a real competitor to the good old Adder.
Hi, I was impressed so I ordered the Mey Interceptor on the UK site. I now cannot access the UK site and have not heard anything about my order, are you still delivering to the UK?
Sure.
Is break barrel action better than adder action? apart from the magazine the adder lever seems less disruptive to aim
Are you planning to put compound bow arms on it? To make it more tactical.
He's not, recurve yes eventually . How long eventually is I don't know
Yup,
I think this is the one for me 👍
What was the distance for the first shoots with 60 limb and hunting arrows ?
Can i get this shipped to the Netherlands? Or can i go to germany self and get it? Thanks.
I have the same. question. I practically live on the border nl/de so should be much more efficient to just go for a drive, doing groceries there anyways a perrtentahe of the time.
@@blueredbrick Weet je al meer? Thanks.
@@Jack-vi1zy Gewoon bestellen( heb ik ook gedaan)💪🏻 lijkt mij het beste
Hoping to see the black hardware set come up for pre-order soon
Will it take Saxon war bolts ?
yes.
What scope would be recommended for the 30 meters distance?
I wonder how well it will be on White Tail Deer?.
Nother mind I got my answer.
So this has less potential to upgrade limb power than the adder does?
Hallo Joerg,
mein deutsch is schrecklich, so english ....
Basically fasten your crossbow into the device, pick a different version of the magazine (even a "drumm - like" ABOVE the crossbow string, laying bolts by rotating inner tube with "padles" inside a slightly bigger tube with one slid opened)
Of course, something different for a pistoll crossbow, and something different for heavier crossbow.
I should have the money in september. I will place my order then, cheers
Having a hard time deciding between this and the new adder v3 version any suggestions?
If only there was a pistol version with internal magazine that could be operated by one hand.
Are you Van Helsing? Do you want to also dual wield them? Maybe go play some more Diablo 😂😂😂

That sounds epic, the way you put it. And yes, I am seriously in want of such. ☺️

Or Terminater
Could the front end be made lighter with a reverse limb configuration? Of course, the required cams will increase cost and complexity somewhat, but I understand they can provide a longer power stroke without increasing the size of the crossbow. Perhaps it could be an interesting variation.
Not a good idea for fast repeating crossbows. The string angle gets very steep, bad for the string lifetime.
@@SlingshotchannelI always thought reverse limbs were easier on the strings due to the even action, but that certainly makes sense. Is it due to the nock being a small point of contact, or could it be alleviated with a trigger mechanism with a gradual curve contacting the string?
Will there be a carrying case available?
Do Canadian orders go to the Canadian GoGun and then to the customer or directly to the Canadian customer from the USA?
I’m concerned about Canadian Customs having a problem as they did/do with the Stinger. If shipping is directly from the USA to the Canadian customer then it’s hit or miss with Canadian customs problems.
Wow Would I get one in Canada , That is the question ?
Wann gibt’s die HP wieder?
Good Stuff ; Jorge .
Man, zombies have no chance now!
how to make it quieter on the reload is my question?
