How does it works with the manure on this farm? Is there a Container under the stable or do they use lagoons?

Wow. No matter what farmers do to produce more with less they get criticized by people perverting the truth and the science. Really comes down to this, each year there is less farm acreage in the world and more people to feed. The dairy industry for one has produced more with less by using technology and science thus reducing their carbon foot print and improving their already awesome product. This has all been done with the care of the animal being the guiding theme as every farmer knows that a healthy, comfortable, happy animal is more productive and profitable. Sorry mr. Animal rights activist, but those are the facts.

+kader ammimoussa You like animal cruelty then. Cows should be able to graze outdoors! Fool.

Your an idiot. Those cows are treated like queens. All you can eat buffet, great health care, work about 2 hours a day, comfortable and happy ---- whats wrong with that. Feeding the world and caring for the cows! Way to go dairy farmers!

+Mike L Ermm, Bovine Growth Hormones, Feed not Grass (probably), have their young calves wrenched away from them and killed if Male, Lots of Antibiotics in their feed and directed into their teets if they get mastitis from the usual overmilking production that Holstiens get, then theres the shoved into cages and not allowed to move freely and graze naturally. Yeah maybe you keep your queen prisoner in a tower eh. So do you use the term Queen to describe a machine part which is all these cows are. A cog in a money making machine. If they dont produce babies or milk enough they will be killed. Simple as that.

+truthseekers666 Growth hormones have been banned in Europe for decades, every load of milk that is collected on farm is tested for the presence of anti biotics, and if there is a trace of antibiotics, it has to be flushed down a drain as it cannot be used for human consumption. Would you rather they were not treated for mastitis? (which by the way, even beef cows feeding their calves can get).

They are meant to move around more - and they can and do live outdoors
