@@oe542 no I get that I know a lot of farms that don’t pasture their cattle but if you watch a video from CAFRE it explains that they have upped the cattle’s time outside to lower the ammonia levels

@@jessie333 Yes, as a research facility, I agree it is impressive with many advanced ideas. I just question how practical it would be operation. I would be interested in an opinion from one of our landgrant institutions (Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc.).

It all seems so sterile which is fine but do the cows even see daylight?
Yea it has screens that go up and down to control temperature. As far as seeing a pasture? No they don’t.
