I exit a (7) Train at the Main Street-Flushing subway station, and walk through Downtown Flushing to the neighborhood of College Point.
    From Wikipedia:
College Point is a working-middle-class neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is located north of Flushing on Flushing Bay and the East River also part of the Queens Community Board 7. Willets Point Boulevard and the Whitestone Expressway are often the neighborhood's approximate boundaries with Flushing and Whitestone, respectively; College Point also borders Willets Point at the Flushing River at the extreme southwest corner. The 109th Precinct of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) serves College Point. College Point is a diverse community, mostly residential, with some industrial areas."

You did a great job with this video. I lived in College Point from 1954 to 1974. I enjoyed the walk along Roosevelt Ave, passing by the College Point Little League fields where I played baseball, and the walk down College Place to MacNeil Park. Much has changed since I grew up there.

I lived in College Point 67 -77 you walked by the house lived on 127 st between 22nd ave and 20th. We were I think 2nd Puerto Rican family in town then. I spent most of my teenage years at the park we used to call the park Chislom don't know why. Thank you for the video I showed this to my family

Everyone in CP knows the park by that name. Not sure why we call it that either.

My street was the best street in Collage Point ! 130Th ST facing Powell Park and Malba with the view of Whitestone Bridge and no houses across the street with nice Mini Bike trails !!! LOL

i visited Powell Park yesterday. It is a good place for jogging with the trees around and the sandy trail. Is it good for fishing?

Omg, you walked right by house. You walked by all the stores we go to regularly, I’ve been on all those roads and I’ve lived there my whole life. It just feels so surreal to see someone else on TH-cam walking through my town

God, I grew up there some 60 plus years or so. Linden Place was the next block over from mine (Farrington Street) I lived between 35th and 32nd avenues. Some of the buildings were there when I was growing up i.e. the armory, the court house the bowling alley to name a few. The new luxury high rise/hotel on the corner (under construction in video) was a NYC Sanitation garage

Enjoyed this walk. When you were walking toward Petco, I thought you were going in..Also made me think you were on a geocaching adventure. Have you ever done that? Maybe that would be a cool video to make
