Friends, I have a 1989 S10 and I really like it. I have had it for 13 years and I will continue working with my truck.

We had an 82 S-10 Tahoe. It was built tough and it was a sharp truck. Cost $9,000 in April of 1982 IIRC.

My uncle had a 87. That thing would glide down the roughest roads

"four" passenger is a charitable description.
Even as a 90 lb. 4th grader, the jump seat was not commodious or comfortable for me.

I had a Nissan 720 4x4. Sold it 2 years ago, zero rust but needed engine rebuilt and new transmission synchros @280K. It was gutless, but still miss it

I know they're bashing imports, which is what got their asses kicked, but I just can NOT help but laugh MY ass off at 2:58.

It didn’t get their “asses kicked.” The Ranger had the most market share in the compact pickup segment until the early/mid 00’s, and GM wasn’t far behind. The Hardbody and Toyota pickup were arguably better trucks than either in many ways, but they never outsold either GM or Ford in this era, or for a couple of decades afterwards. That being said, it was pretty funny to watch the guy just torque the hell outta that Mazda’s window frame.

That literally surprised me, especially with the fact that it was a new truck at the time.

I wonder who bought that Mazda used from Chevy's video production company and whether that driver's door ever sealed right.

Mazda had a percentage ownership of Ford.

If I buy one of those, I'll get trespassed from Huntington bank for having your daddy's stolen truck.
