I know this was a video about the camper van build, but watching you and your Dad, driving along in the mini, windows down and 60's music blaring out the stereo, was just FANTASTIC!!!!

i am more impressed with the carefully cut and shaped pannels for the walls! i normally use cardboard to mark the correct shape to then transcribe on the plywood. i didnt see him doing that, so he must have made tons of measurements! it is quite a complex task.
Loved the mini, your dad needs his own channel documenting the restoration of it!

Much cheaper and simpler than a fancy camper van..I’ve just bought a nearly new VWT6 Transporter..I’ve made pull out sliding drawers with a bed on top with memory foam mattress ..as I’m 6ft2” the huge bed is really good..my wife even has more room at 5ft 3”!!! Saves huge amounts on hotel bills and you pull up and rest wherever you want. Thanks for,your video. Excellent.

Everyone loves a classic mini. I used to race one in the ministox.
It gets a like from me just for the mini. I had (or my Mum had one) I always used to drive it around our farm. They were such sporty, nippy, little cars.....Don't let Mr Bean put you off them. They really were great cars. We got 6 of us in one once on the way back from the cinema.... Nostalgia.....

I recently bought my dream car which is a 1989 Porsche; dad and I have been going to classic car meets all summer. It's a fantastic way to connect with him. I hope you can build even more of a connection with your dad because of the Mini!

Hey mate when building draws out of plywood just lay it all down on the ground and then assemble it, it’s a lot easier then trying to hold everything up.

Put a gas spring on the lids, they're cheap and will prevent the lids from slamming down when you least expect it.
