So far I've had a studio 22, 50cal+, dual recto (great amp but after a few years realized it just wasn't for me, sold it to a friend that gigs with it regularly) and a studio preamp I've had since high school (GREAT preamp and truely a well kept secret on the used market) but these Lonestars have been peaking my interest more and more in the recent years. Might have to snag one.
Thanks for watching,Hollis Prince ! :D. Sadly, there is unlikely to be any future videos for Electradyne since the amp has been discontinued, BUT... stay tuned for some cool stuff coming in the near future that you will likely dig. Thanks for watching! More coming soon...
I'm dreaming of a 3 channel Lonestar Classic - EL34 equipped - Channel 1 clean, Then a exact copy of channel 1 to be run pushed, Then the Drive channel - and while I'm at it, each of the 3 has its own Normal, thick, thicker setting. Love my Lonestar Classic, just about 10 yrs old now.
Hi Paul - Nice! A 3 channel Lone Star could be cool, indeed. And - FYI - you can already use EL-34s in your Lone Star by switching the bias. BTW - Lone Stars sound GLORIOUS with EL-34s, especially when cranked up in Ch. 2 with the Bass control set low. Amazing vintage AC/DC rock tones and beyond. :) Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching! Rock on...
HiNicolas Rivera - Thanks for your thoughtful comment! We often include about 10-15% room mic in our mixes for ambience, amp tone in the room, reverb depth, etc. Close mic'ing is great and makes up 85-90% of our mixes and any 'demo' on TH-cam or anywhere else will hopefully serve anyone "close enough" to know if they can get themselves in front of the amp and plugged in - to check it out in detail for themselves... which is what we recommend HIGHLY if you are planning to make a significant musical instrument purchase like this. Thanks for watching and hope this helps. :D
Mesa Boogie has been my Dream Amp since I was a teenager.. I played through a Lonestar many years ago and I still remember the tone.. Top shelf amps
The Lonestar crunch is the best I have heard so far
My sound reference
No competition.
Astonishing tone and dynamics!
Thank you, heliobluesrock !
really sweet sound
Thanksjean mouloud ! :)
Yes, this is just awesome

This setting is awesome, even on 50w if you have an original.
Yes! Please make more Lonestar videos! Make more videos of your "other" amps: Lonestar, Electra Dyne, Royal Atlantic, etc.

Thanks MESA/Boogie! I'm just an Electra Dyne junkie :) I really dig the Lonestar too though!

It's like switching channels... without switching channels!

Please, make a mini version of that, like mini mark v!
A fine idea,fpapaleo74 ! :D
If you do make a mini can it be 6v6 like a deluxe instead of el84's, the lone star is like the ultimate modern tweed amp
Is that a custom shop tele or an original?
Custom Shop. :)
Hearing the acoustic sound of the guitar does not help showcase the amps tone.
