A great way to add clarity and balance the low-end is to drop the Bass knob to around 9 o'clock ... leaves more room for Treble and Mids while also removing that "wet blanket" feel a lot of folks talk about. Works best with 100W setting on each channel. ... took me a while to figure this out but it really helps, plus you still have all that Bass on tap if you want/need it. Just my $0.02 :D
@@Leo-jt3tc I used the master and gain appropriately along with pedals to get my sound where it needed to be... I eventually downsized to the LS Special and enjoyed the voice of that amp much more than the Classic. Both are phenomenal tools. Currently playing a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV and really loving it :)
@@Leo-jt3tc it's very easy to get a 100W amp sounding good at lower volumes... mine also had 100/50/10W settings on the classic and the special had 30/15/5W. Are you having trouble getting a good sound out of a large amp at home?
Justyn McDonald maybe on higher volumes you can get the treble little bit more because of the low end of the amp, i dont have the bb pre amp but im so curious about it, gonna try it someday, i got the JHS AT, but the DS1 works also very very well with this amp.
Sick tone dude! Most people complain its to bottom end heavy! You nailed it!
Thanks!

Very good demo. I have this exact amp, but I usually only use Channel 1. Great to see the possibilities of the drive channel, Channel 2.
I like it. Nice demo.
Amazing amp! Very versatile
You got the treble way too high man, turn it back around 1/2 a clock, it smooths the sounds better
What do you expect from a guy who plugs a right angle cable into a Strat?
JDGreen916 hahaha 🤣🤣
JDGreen916 one of the great TH-cam comments
Justyn McDonald i own one :) and its definitely not sounding mud, just a thick phat sound! Like Andy Timmons :)
