Man you make it look so easy! Been trying to learn Law. What are some easy bread and butter after launch combos, i see you doing some here. I feel like I get crouched a lot, or just spam blocked. Hard for me to find an opening and when i do launch I choke up LOL just a quick sequence nothing too crazy would be appreciated!
Don't know if its worth mentioning but counter hit somersault launchers like while standing 4, 3 and df4, 3 that used to be -15+ are now only -14 (only a few characters can launch like bryan). Double somersault is also only -14 (single is -17 or something but most ppl dont punish the first). Tekken veterans immediately use their 15 frame launchers after the somersault, which kinda gives you a free turn lmao...(it might be common knowledge a month down the line but given that rank is only 3 rounds max now, might as well use it couple of times for opponent knowledge check since its lower risk now). It also leaves you in crouched position (kinda) so a lot of high punishes whiff for some reason lol (jet upper always hits tho😅). Oh and dss f3 is also like only -13/14 so you can kinda spam it sometimes lol...idk what it is but dss f3 (in heat) into dive grab works 99% of the time😂. That tech alone got me into orange ranks on the second day of launch lmao... mixed it up with 3+4, 4 if they started ducking. Oh and on the wall or against ppl that dont know how to back dash, a pretty cool mixup after 1, 1, 2 (10frame punish) is dss uf 1+2 or just uf 1+2...i found that it's pretty much an unseeable and genuine 50/50 grab mixup (yes they can duck but idk anyone who ducks after taking a 10 frame punish in a best of 2 out of 3 at the wall). And i hope they nerf dragunov and yoshi ffs...
Day 3 Garyu here ... Yeah he does feel ... different. I know 4,3 into dss then f+4 is legit easier now but for me personally I'm having difficulty nailing it at the end of a juggle. Its kinda embarassing for me 😅. And I also legit can't do that wave dash ws+4 recurringly. Fucking weird seeing quasi Mishima inputs in his repertoire now but I guess it makes for troll style gameplay I was able to find sucess on f+3,1,dss,2 on counterhit for a launcher tho so that was cool Also feels like his ff3+4 command grab launcher feels nerfed ? I cant do jumping neutral hopkick after the grab launches. Keep it up brother I enjoy the content. I'm also gonna enjoy and hate complaining about Law for the next decade 😂
Unpopular opinion mb, but Law feels actually well balanced. Yes, granted, many launchers have been removed and some moves nerfed but imagine Law having all same stuff on top of heat dash/burst. Law would have been overpowered.
He is b tier in tekken 7 and how can he become overpowered in tekken 8 if he didn't receive these nerfs in t8? I don't really understand what is your claim. Not to mention he has possibly the worst heat brust and heat dash moves in t8.
@@jkdman2007 yeah never mind, at the time when T8 just dropped I felt like Law is actually well balanced and all the nerfs were appropriate until recent couple days. And yeah I agree, he defo is a B tier. My gameplay with Law in T7 was way more aggressive and more invasive in comparison to now
@@lsvlogs_ law only has a couple of appearances in story modes, plus the story mode was leaked even before the launching of the game so there's no point in uploading it

SS2 and SS3 is a good mix up..actually on the wall.
And u can also do 1,1,1 which is a 10F counter hit heat engager after SS2 as a frame trap...

None
all of law's moves track to one side only, these were the top moves that law had and you can see that they all track to one side only
Extreme place: 2~1 (poison arrow) this move i19 mid +2 on block, ch launcher and it's one of ff 2 extension's (ff2, 2~1 higg mid string)
Its a great move
But it can only be used at the wall
It has no tracking and can be interrupted And back dashed too....

b234 goes into dss from where you can do dss 3

its good tech against scrubs no doubt, but at higher levels it won't work
