Really eclectic, fascinating altar. I have great ideas now for incorporating my honoring of the archetypal energies of Mother Mary and Jesus with my Buddhist and Egyptian gods/goddesses. 💕
New subbie here saying hello! I've recently returned to my practice and find myself connecting with the Virgin Mary also. I was raised Catholic and my grandmother (now deceased) always prayed her Rosary at night. The other day she (my grandmother) told me to pray the Rosary how she taught me. I did ... and it felt wrong in some ways. The Apostles Creed, the Our Father ... they felt wrong. And within the Hail Mary, any reference to God or Jesus feels wrong. So when you mentioned you alter the wording on some prayers, I felt almost ... freed. Like it's ok to tailor my connection with Mother Mary in a way that strengthens that bond rather than pushing me away. Thank you, thank you thank you for sharing!
I'm so happy that you were helped by this. Having my own unique dynamic connection to Mary has been game-changing and I'm sure it will be for you too, doll xx
@@kelly-annmaddox I'm already working on it. The prayers themselves are easy enough to alter. However, in order to pray the entire Rosary, the Mysteries and every other prayer therein may have to be tweaked. Again, thanks for the inspiration! :D
Can you do a video about the different ways you use your cauldron daily? I love working with my cauldron but don't have many ideas for its uses. Absolutely love the altar. I always love seeing your tours🎃 Blessed be💀
Yay!! Literally just opened up my laptop, tea in hand, to see Kellyann posted 9 hours ago. New/dark moon vibes, I love it! bless you siStar! love from South Africa!
I loved it and I love your beautiful disposition ! I also love Virgins especially Our Lady of Charity... a Brujo/male Witch, told me ones that he saw my late Grandma next to me, and that she used to adore Our Lady of Charity... something that I'm still investigating through relatives and her friends but I haven't have much luck (she died before I was born and she was a Midwife and a tarot reader)... but I still want to give the Witch the benefit of the doubt because I believed in his power, and it came from a genuine and generous gesture of him. So ever since I have been told that... I have been collecting rosaries and images of the Lady of Charity Virgin, and I love nuns too... There is this beautiful Monastery close to where I live here in my town in Puerto Rico, that I love to visit and the Nuns are so wonderful and welcoming, I just love them to pieces... there is one that cracks me up all the time I see her, she's super funny! Blessed Be Kelly Ann... you're wonderful!
Oh, I wish you had 20 more altars, that was amazing to watch! And for the Q&A: How do you consecrate things that go on the altar and why and does every item get its own individualised ritual before it can go on the altar? So far, I have been setting my things up without any brimborium... 😄
It’s all so YOU! It reminds me or your chunky jewelry and your adorable, eclectic fashion. So authentic. Thank you for sharing your sacred space with us. ❤️
I love all of your Altar videos and this one is probably my favorite! I loved seeing the Strength Bag that I sent to you and the other things that people have given to you. A very Gorgeous Powerful Altar!
Thank you for sharing. Your altar put me in mind of New Orleans. I use a set of Green Jasper Juzu Beads, but watching your video made me think I might want to go shopping for a new set so I can switch them up with my moods. I was also attracted to your dolls which was surprising to me as I never cared for dolls as a child. Have a great night.
OBSESSED with your altar! thank you for sharing, I'm so inspired to get started on my own once I have space. It's nice seeing another witch inspired by catholic imagery, love seeing the rosaries!
That green glass is amaze 😍😍 I have never heard of box magic before. Can you please explain a bit on what is it, what it's for, and how to practice it?
I was raised Catholic too. I actually attend mass at times. Mary is Sophia and she is goddess of wisdom. The same form is taken in other ancient religions. Cerridwen is the Celtic goddess of wisdom. I like the hell space. This reminds me of the underworld and Persephone’s journey. She ended up embracing the darkness and falling in love with it. Perhaps it could mean that we have seized illusion and fear that we were raised with believing in the Catholic faith. Persephone eventually has liberation spending half of the year on Mt. Olympus in the happy and sunny place and the other half of the year in the underworld with Hades.
Beautiful, eclectic, quirky and sweet--suits you perfectly! And now I have so many new ideas; thank you for letting us see your sacred space! Blessings xo
About the crown in the altar. In Brazil we have a religion called Santo Daime. It is based around consuming Ayahuasca in a cristian(ish) setting. To them, Mary is all that is kind and beautiful in the world. They dance and chant to connect with the sacred and women wear long skirts and crowns, representing Mary and her power. It's so cool to see that this connection has come up in the amazonian jungle and is also come up for Kelly-Ann in Great Britain :)
I effin love what youre doing. My practice doesnt look much like yours, but youve inspired me so much to make the jump to bring my spirituality into my professional career and be more authentically myself in every avenue of my life. I really was too concerned with people not taking me seriously, but I realize now Id rather people take me for me (and Im seriously not serious lol). Thanks for putting out such awesome content!
Gahh! I loved this! It really inspired me to try and fall back in love with my alter again. It's been a bit of a drought for me at the moment as my head has been in 10000 different places. I just need to get excited about it all again :)
Always love seeing your altar and hearing little bits about why you have the things you do. Love the little alien 👽 I struggle to know where to put things on my altar without it looking like stuff just chucked on a table! I always feel like everyone else’s looks so much more witchy than mine ! Any tips on this would be great. 💖⭐️
As always gorgeous and magickal. I recently moved and my altar space has expanded so I may take a page out of your book and get it ready for Samhain as well. I am truly in love with your space.
I thought the tour was over. Then you opened the drawers! I love the alien story. Some of my favourite encounters with people have been random strangers on the last train home.
Oh my, this is wonderful! I've always been curious as to what all your altar held. I love your work and your videos and just found it interesting to note we have twin cauldrons!
I love your altar. Could you tell us more about how you use your prayer beads, such as some of the prayers you use and how you change the traditional prayers? Thanks for sharing.
That was such a fun video to watch. Love all your stuff and how you work with it! What do you do with the doll parts? For poppets? I loved the little alien and the story behind it!
I love to take part ritual for whichcraft you know have a good ideal part of whchcraft and live a Catholic in there I love how you have your altar sit up
"witchy flexing for the gram" 😂 omg! That is a brilliant turn of phrase. Do the areas on your altar for your goddesses change with the rest of your altar? Or are those sections a more static set up? I'm a chopsy changey type but for some reason feel like if I do start working with deity in that way it would need to be a specific, static space of my altar. Not sure why!
I learned from a Wise Witch who also teaches to not mix Goddess Pantheons on any single Altar out of respect to the others. Therefore, I have an Altar for Goddess Hecate, an Altar for Goddess Aphrodite, an Altar for Goddess Isis, etc. However for example, it would be ok to place say Sekhmet, Isis, Inanna on the same Altar as they are all from the Egyptian Pantheon.
Beautiful video! Thanks! It's very different from mine! I'm more monothematic. I like cemeteries too. I don't know why I can't put Christian staff on my altar. It doesn't make me feel comfortable. Probably because I've received a Catholic religious education and I have the feeling , the strange feeling that I'm a little bit blasphemous..it's a strange feeling difficult to explain.... :-) :-)
I enjoy the level of comfort you have with mixing catholic bits with everything else. Thank you for that. I feel quite at home in your space.
Really eclectic, fascinating altar. I have great ideas now for incorporating my honoring of the archetypal energies of Mother Mary and Jesus with my Buddhist and Egyptian gods/goddesses. 💕
Awww the little alien story was like a warm cup of tea 💕👽
Riiiiight? :)
Love how you incorporate aspects of Christianity in your practice. So tired of the gatekeepers who tell anyone they can't! 👼

Thank you for giving an updated tour of your beautiful altar space. It is invigorating & tranquilizing all in one.

Interesting thoughts. Cerridwen, my matron. 🙂
Wonderful! I share the same matron. Occasionally I resonate with Brigid. My patron is St.Michael.
That is wonderful! I'm still in search of a patron.
Beautiful, eclectic, quirky and sweet--suits you perfectly! And now I have so many new ideas; thank you for letting us see your sacred space! Blessings xo
Love the tour of your altar. The pendant of Hel really is stupendous!!

Your altar is absolutely beautiful and inspiring
I love working with the Catholic prayers of my youth, especially when working with the spirits of my catholic ancestors and with my patron saints.
I thought the tour was over. Then you opened the drawers! I love the alien story. Some of my favourite encounters with people have been random strangers on the last train home.
Would love to see an updated tourrrrr
