Bonehilda is like a grandma
It's best for this challenge to make the lot a haunted house right away and never leave it until you get gigs. You can buy a bush to pee/nap in or a 25 Simolean beach towel. When Guidry appears, try to have your sleep need in the red as well as your hunger. Guidry will give you free ecto cakes if you're hungry and instantly refill your energy need if you're tired. He will only do each once per day and only if the need is in the red. Just take photos to give the ghosts on the lot in order to start out earning money for a séance table. Green ghosts are automatically happy, but other colors should be communicated with first to make them smile. Giving a gift while the ghost is smiling has an improved chance for them to like the gift. Sometimes, I find that just spamming gifts is the best option though since they don't always take to communication well.

Aromantic Bonehilda is absolutely chef's kiss the representation I didn't know I needed until now.... I didn't expect the sims team to change interests for existing sims but this was SUCH a cool move on their part
My best friend's legacy household in the Sims 3 had tons of ghosts wandering around all the time from the many graves on the lot and the ghosts would come out at night and just make endless amounts of hotdogs so I guess ghosts just love American junk food

I've learned that ghosts love anything made with the Eco lifestyle pack. Ghosts also love cupcakes which you can make and then separate into individual servings
What about speedrunning losing 1.000.000 simolions? Like where in the end you have to own nothing of value. Emptiy smalles lot, empty inventory and no other propertys (stores, vet cliniks).
Totally not asking becaus i have way to much money in my current family and no idear how to get rid of it (without cheats).
Please lilsimsie, make a video about the new aggression bug. It’s ruining many peoples game play since the last update that came with the loyalty trait. It doesn’t seem to bother your game, but many others can’t even play now. All sims want to do is yell at each other. Even with high friendship.

It hasn’t broken my game but last time I checked I don’t have the loyalty trait so I think I don’t have the update😂

As far as I know, the best thing to give to the ghosts is white whine ??? (You'll need the mixologist skill) But I never actually tested it, I usually just bake stuff to follow a storyline with my current ghost hunter sim (ghosts hate my baked goods btw)
I saw a youtube short talking about how if a Sim is unalived from a murphy bed and are a ghost thats part of your household, you can possess other sims for energy

The wants and fears are literally breaking every pack gameplay these days, they override every other moodlet and make a lot of things impossible. And the game is absurdly laggy for me even with no mods... I keep wanting to come back to the Sims but it's painful.

I cant do anything knitting cause when i tried knitting, my stupid effing sim wouldnt freaking do it. Kept going upstairs for no freaking reason and then route failed telling me 'i CaNt Do It' even though i put the rocking chair in the middle of the room where nothing was blocking it.............. which in turn ticked me off and i punched and broke my laptop screen. I hate the sims right now
The brave reward trait helps a lot.
Use the SCAM mod to disable some autonomous actions, like painting... That way, Stanley will only paint the paintings that you want him to paint.
Have Stanley don his hot weather hotdog suit. Looks the same, but more adequate for those steamy hot days.
For 1000 satisfaction points, you can get the Storm Chaser trait. Now, your Sim is happy during lightning storms instead of being scared.
Then, there is the Courageous trait. Real life saver.
I always feel like selling photo’s from the inventory is like OF..
It'll be too late by the time she sees this, but I'd love to see a house made with only the spooky packs/items. Using the weirdest/most hated/least used, occult pieces.

How are you able to remove the fears and auto complete aspiration tasks? I’ve seen you do it in other videos but I don’t know the hotkey or whatever it is
have you noticed a mean interaction issue in your game, like sims being mean unprovoked
For future reference if you ever decide to do this again create seceance circles and get sacred candles. My sim made really good money from this freelance career and those two things are a life saver!

What I hate about the gigs is when your sim is too scared. I would use the dolls and candles and would put like 3 in each room to help the moodlet go away but it would just never work!
I have never been interested in the Paranormal stuff pack but this made me wanna go buy the pack and start ghost hunting!!

Poor Stanley really goes through it in all kinds of scenarios. lol. Bad thing about the Paranormal thing is once you summon like the angry lady, she will stalk you and possess your stuff. She's hard to get rid of.

I like playing with Wants and Fears but they have been driving me absolutely insane lately. My sim is constantly afraid of things, almost ALWAYS afraid of the dark. I’ll conquer the fear and then literally the next day when I play it’s back! It’s so annoying!
Who thinks it will be nice if the trending prompt to AI image generation was implemented In the Sims, like you could just klik on The painting and enter a prompt and your sim would just paint a randomly generated image based on your prompt.
i said it before and I'll say it again, i think i prefer it when you build an actual house with Stanley's money, gives it closure haha, and also shows what you earn fast with these careers(? although i know it's not really the point of the video

I’d love to see Stanley try to get rich off pet poop! He starts off with a pet and the vet crafting station, a pet food bowl, and zero simoleons and he has to make a bunch of poop randomizer treats to make the pet poop gold and until he can make the treat he has to make money selling regular poop

I have some possible ghost hunting tips.
1. I read on a Sims forum that it's good to bring a cot or inflatable mattress to ghost hunting gigs because it allows you to pull out the bed and hide under the covers to deal with your scared moodlets.
I also seem to remember reading that happy/green specters enjoy mint chocolate cupcakes? lol Maybe all kinds of specters can enjoy any kind of food though.
2. Doing seances, while they can help with gigs, makes your energy drain faster.
3. It's a good idea to keep a jar of candy that the specters give you on your person because they seem to have infinite uses and have a good chance to give you a moodlet that gradually fills your energy motive.
This was a very fun video! Always love Stanley. A bit disappointed with how so many nonhuman sims seem to be aromantic compared to how few human sims are. Perhaps I've gotten consistently unlucky but it's just been disappointing as someone who's been told more times than I can count that not being attracted to people, among other things, makes me nonhuman. I'm glad the sims added the romantic orientations but I hope they address this dehumanization aspect

I’ve had great success giving the ghosts gifts from vending machines. Even spoiled sandwiches. I usually go with the cans of soup, though.

Using the wax the ghosts gives you to make candles helps with getting rid of your fear, definitely make those for investigating houses so you can get rid of the vines & dolls & puddles
