Aside from starting the Jurassic Park journey with Addie I knew it was time to not only start a new show, but to finally expose her to perhaps one of the best shows ever!
Breaking Bad truly defined television and even after all this time, it still holds as such a freaking masterpiece so it was time Addie understood!
She loved the first two episodes so YOU KNOW she's in for a real rollercoaster
As a pilot and overall start to a series, of course, 10/10

I’m glad you guys are starting this journey of Breaking Bad, it’s one of my favorite TV shows of all time, besides Game Of Thrones (even with the divisive final season), Attack On Titan, and Stranger Things, and Addie is in for a wild ride
Breaking Bad: 10/10 from beginning to end. This show has the most intriguing cold opens on television.

Great to see Addie back for this one! She's a very smart girl so she's going to understand the layers and feelings from the characters or at least try. Too many reactors (that I like don't get me wrong) lack understanding in that area, if things are not explicitly showed or said, they won't even try to see what's really behind their words or reactions.
Yeah, this is one of the things I love about Breaking Bad. Its spin-off/prequel show, Better Call Saul, uses this pretty complex kind of storytelling to an even greater extent and degree, in my opinion.

The first season was made short because of a writers strike, so when watching 2x1 remember that it is how the first season was supposed to end. Trust me it makes sense when you get there.

He has a vary abrasive personality but he is actually genuinely a good guy, he's just one of those people that just takes a bit of getting used to.

Addie is definitely in for a wild ride. Season one lays the perfect foundation for what is in my opinion, the greatest show in television history.
If she enjoyed the pilot and episode two this much….she is going to LOVEEEE this show! Because as great as the start of the series is it is definitely a lot slower.

I'm sure the first season would have been around 13 episodes as well. But the writers strike abruptly cut it short. That's why the season 1 finally doesn't really feel like a finale. The first couple episodes of season 2 are more finale-like.
Walt is pantsless so often, like it's in Bryan Cranston's contract that he gets to strip whenever he wants.
"F*ck you, and your eyebrows!" is one of the greatest comedic lines, ever.

Breaking Bad, and of course the amazing spin off Better Call Saul are amazing shows, it was created by Vince Gilligan, one of the major writers on The X-Files, the 'daddy' of them all. An interesting piece of trivia is Bryan Cranston got the major role on this show as Vince Gilligan was so impressed by his performance on X-Files episode Drive. This first episode sets up the series nicely introducing us to the two major characters, and their unbelievable journey through this show. The cinematography and writing on Breaking Bad is incredible. The Winnebago being the first Meth Lab is iconic in this show. You will be amazed how this show develops over the Seasons with jaw dropping scenes. It's a stellar show. Enjoy your journey.

I love how Addie doesn't hate Skyler for opposing Walter. Many, if not all, reactors I have watched very quickly started disliking her in these two beginning episodes, because she's being an "annoying, frustrating b*tch".

Seriously tho, Breaking Bad is a masterpiece. Getting better and better. In later seasons it's just crazy good. And you can't say that about many shows. 90% of them just get worse and worse or just plummet down.

Why the bad audio from the show? It’s ok, but sounds “far away”. I recall previous reactions from this channel had a more direct full volume audio feed.
If I were Walt orJesse, I would take all of the bad luck they're having as a sign that this might not be the best idea.

Yeah, a lot of people who watch the show are on Walter's side. I never really was there. It's an interesting character study, but I already dislike him as a person at this point.
