EXCELLENT interview. This young man represents himself and his views with dignity, erudition, and class. He is a delightful representative for the values of freethought. Frankly, he gives old atheists, like me, a sense of hope in the younger generation.
he nails it even though he is clearly not a Christian. If only Christians could think like this, we would not have lost the culture war. I for one am sick and tired of the darkness around every corner, in movies, on tv, in games, in schools. Everything is dark and gloomy and disgusting. Thanks secularism !
I don't get why so many people on here are rallying behind this guy. As an agnostic, I recognized that hell in the Bible has more than one interpretation back when I was a Christian. It doesn't have to be a literal place- and that's why many Christians nowadays don't preach it that way. It's better to reserve judgment on someone than to be so certain in your piety.
I don't know if you should be proud of being a christian or any time of religious person at all. I think people should be proud of sharing the truth and not myths from bronze-age peasants who didn't know the earth orbited the sun.
Why is he encouraging them?! I can only conclude that he's calling out the typical Western christian who loves to wallow in self-satisfaction and smugness without doing any of the hard work.
Most CHRISTians aren't worth their weight in salt. I believe that if you are a True CHRISTian, you can't help but bring it up in any conversation. It will be brought up at work; In your home; in the grocery store check out line; you name it! But if you're one that goes to Church on Sundays & don't even think to bring up God/Jesus Christ in "any" conversation, then I question that you're really saved at all. The Western CHRISTian is an odd person. Most are unsaved, if you ask me. They go about actually leading people away from the Church by the way they live. They support leaders like obama & hillary who support abortion & homosexuality, but never pay attention to what the Holy Bible says in Deut. 7:26, 2Chron.19:2, 10, Prov. 24:24-25, Hag.2:12-14, 2Jn.10-11 & finally Rev. 18:4. I talked to a co-worker about homosexuality & he said, "my brother is a homosexual." To which most CHRISTians will just roll over & expose their belly & give up. They cave! But to respond with something like this, would be better: "Oh. I'm sorry to hear about that. Being unrepentant, your brother will go to Hell & burn for all Eternity. Have you talked to him about that? God isn't going to change His mind for your brother. If He did, then I wouldn't want to worship Him. The God I worship doesn't change His mind, & that is who I place my faith in. The day my God changes his mind, is the day that I will no longer worship him. That would mean he is weak & compromising. To me, he would no longer be God." I learned of this video by watching Billy Crone's Countdown To Eternity set. This was on Vol. 5 Disc 1 at the last 4 minutes of the 1st sermon on the disc called "Phony Believers." This guy gave me a chill running down my spine in the 1st minute of his conversation. I want to know who this guy is. If he ever latches on to CHRISTianity. . . OH THE WORK HE'LL DO FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD! This guy can be one of the greats. All I can think of is the Great Awakenings in American history. He could really trigger something like that.
I don't appreciate what he's doing either. This man is kowtowing to Christians for the sake of being liked and to sound intelligent to the audience. Look at how fucking Christians are responding to this. They think their precious fucking lord is using an unbeliever like him to do his fuckin work.
+Leonard Wattimena I don't think you really understood what he was saying. He said IF he were a Christian, that's what he would do. He's not saying he is. He's not encouraging Christians to evangelize primarily. He is calling out Christians for their hypocrisy because they proclaim to believe one thing, yet do not carry it through to the its logical conclusion. This dude is a smart guy and knows what he's talking about. You gotta give a guy respect for taking the time to understand his opponents' viewpoints before bashing them, which most people do not (theists and atheists alike)
Perhaps there might not be such a thing as an atheist, but the fact has absolutely no bearing on the truth of Christianity. Period! Moreover, I can appreciate this Atheist speaking about Christian belief and his approval of it's believers to vehemently proselytize their faith. I give him a pass only on one condition. As long as the Christian believers are of European decent and they are directing their proselytising towards other European peoples. This is because I do not believe non European descendants can truly be Christian. That would be a contradiction. Would it not? This way, we do not get into subjugating situation where one people tells another how to live without evidence or justification for their saying so. Ultimately, if one people chooses to partake in the religious belief of another people, then that would be a compliment and honor that the converts are paying to the original people's belief system. For example, an African or Asian Christian would be a compliment made towards Europeans. In that case the Europeans would be honored that other people have chosen to follow their doctrine. However, the non European should continue to have no obligation to Christianity compared to the European whose culture is Christianity. Also, any proselytising or coersion by members of one people to or on another people should be considered a crime because that is how the proselytizing people can manipulate another people into slavery or some form of undue servitude. However, I believe a scientific and secular set of laws should be the basis for different peoples to live and share together, not religious laws. I'm an American, and defend the right of the Christian European to practice Christianity. As long as we have very clear secular laws that givens all us as a democratic society of diverse people.
I believe so as well. He spoke at such length on what a "true Christian" should do. That's a silly notion that there even IS a true Christian. The religion takes on almost as many forms as there are Christians - The "not a true Christian" accusation is just them pointing fingers at someone else with a different variation of that faith. Also, he never mentioned this duty to convert the non believers is just as strongly motivated in other religions of the world.

Da wird ein Interview mit einem Atheisten angekündigt - wo ist der denn bitte?
2ed thought brothers I believe God uses people without them knowing it, certainly it is true for this man, I needed to here this very much, thank the Lord I seen this.
Great video! This is quite similar to what the bible describes as placing hot coals on your enemie's head. This atheist knows the gospel better than most professing Christians do. How many Christians can honestly make the same claim about their understanding of atheism? Close to none. How refreshing to see an atheist who can accurately articulate the gospel message, and reject the actual gospel. So many atheists haven't got a clue what the gospel message is in the first place because they either didn't get it when they were in their denomination's "vacation bible school", or they've gotten their talking points from some idiotic hater who'd rather bash religion than bother to understand it. Christians are obviously no better in this regard. Anyone who can't handle the gospel message is seriously damaged. When a professing Christian gets bent as a dog's hind leg over an atheist presenting the actual gospel, he's just shown us his cards. He's bluffing. He's a poser, a fraud. He's the Christian described in the video who hasn't yet gotten to the point where Christianity is what their life is all about. This young man can handle it just fine. It doesn't bother him in the slightest. He gets it. He understands it completely. He just can't receive it. This is what is so amazing about the gospel message. Some people aren't supposed to get it. Most people don't get it because, as this man pointed out, Christians aren't preaching it in the first place. Even when they do start preaching, they tend to get it wrong. What a shame more Christians can't be as civil and articulate as this atheist. What an amazing testimony to the power of the gospel message in its ability to be concealed from someone so intelligent and articulate, and sincere! Just goes to show that it makes no difference how smart or sincere one is in their confession of faith, God knows the heart, and what is in the heart of humanity. What most Christians fail to understand is that the snotty and snide atheist's claim that Christians believe and worship a created god isn't without basis. No Christian is going to claim that they believe in a god of their own imagination, but the fact is that an uncreated transcendent God is beyond anything that anyone can understand, experience or even think or talk about. It is no coincidence that the ancients refused to speak the name of God, but instead simply referred to God as "the name". A transcendent God is ineffable, and inconceivable. Moreover, given that all that exists can be understood, or referred to, anything transcendent cannot exist. Whatever a Christian says about their god cannot be referring to a transcendent God. Whatever ideas or concepts one may have about their god, cannot be referring to a transcendent God. God has no referent. God is not a concept; that is simply just a type of atheism.
"Things which begin to exist are created." Everything that begins to exist was created. The universe began to exist. Therefore the universe was created. *Created:* _to produce or bring about by a course of action or behavior._ There are of course, natural causes brought about from creation. There is no empirically verifiable evidence to suggest that the universe has always existed in any form. We know, logically something cannot come from nothing. That would be a violation of the rules of logic. Specifically the rule of non-contradiction. So it is logically impossible for the universe to have come from nothing. Even the particles that make up element’s have a half life. There is no escaping the fact that the universe was created.
Joe Stier But why was everything created besides from god? Who created god? For atheists, the consequence of not knowing how the universe began existing is not a god creating it. We simply don't know yet. Maybe we never will. There is an answer to this question, but no human being has figured it out yet, but that does not mean that a god is the answer. So your argumentation is pointless.

Maybe it is God really focusing on you, and He just happens to have me where He wants me, and that is to write to you. Listen brother, so you can understand where I am truly coming from. You cannot base your understanding about someone you never met or known out of one comment, doesn't give you the answer you think you have. Yes, Iron sharpens iron, those words are real if we are there to help one another with truth and love. You can't have one without the other. It is like this, you can't have Jesus without God His Father, no more than walking in truth without love, visa versa. Jesus makes Himself very clear, when He says, that if you love Him, you will obey His commands.. What was His command? If a true Christian, claims to be a true Christian, then what makes you one? Haven't you heard, that people are not going to care how much you know, until they see how much you care. Jesus had actual relationship with people. He was not all about knowledge.. Jesus says to open up your heart. Maybe, the real reason why you do have a hard time understanding those who has accepted the false gospel, is because there aren't many true Christians reaching out in love to the brethren. Many are treating the gospel as if it is all about the knowledge of the gospel, but do not practice it. God has always judged the true motivation of people's heart. I wouldn't mind discussing the young man in the video with you. But, since you approached me the way you did, I only think it was befitting that I questioned your motives, as the scriptures teaches that we are to test the spirit. After all, you did come across like a stranger to me. You don't know anything about me, and I sure don't know you. Jesus had patience with people, He always gave food for thought to those who really needs to know Him.
I have no idea, I just know that this clip is around already several years. Though never read who he is or who interviewed him... Would be interesting to find out how he is doing now :)
Finally a true atheist that doesn't go around mocking or making fun of people for believing in God, but he encourages Christians to stand up for their faith and not be afraid of what people think or say of them. He is truly my role model.
+Marie Coulter Au contraire, mon amie. To act consistently with your wordview and maintain your path of life according with your own set of ideas is a respectable and coherent attitude which I always appreciate. However, that doesn't say a word about the nature itself of those ideas, nor is exclusive with an opposite, even belligerent position towards them.
Mocking and making fun is also a way of driving a point home. That's why you have comedians that satirically drive a point home that would otherwise be ignored. STOP TWISTING WHAT HE SAID. that "stand up for their faith no matter what people say or think of them???". Amazing how people choose to hear only what appeals to them. IN A NUTSHELL HE IS ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO REACH OUT AND CONVERSE INTELLECTUALLY AS CIVILIZED PEOPLE TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ON THEIR "MISGUIDED" VIEWS OR BELIEFS.
I'll be praying for this man so that God may open his eyes. I had my eyes opened in 1999 while I was an atheist it was the most wonderful feeling knowing that I was wrong about there not being a God. At that moment I reacted in faith and belief and followed God sense then. i believe this man would be a great evangelist. I encourage all my brethren to do also fervently and with out ceasing even if we don't here the good news of his salvation. Also pray for Milo Yiannopoulos he's a conservative Homosexual who does not want to be gay look him up on TH-cam he's a wonderful person, he needs our prayer lets pray for his deliverance from the unclean spirit that causes homosexuality, he's also a catholic believer. I encourage you also to not allow this mans words to fall on death ears. Bless you my brethren in Christ Jesus
I suppose you'd be pleased to know this man is indeed Christian and this was a skit created to motivate Christians to proselytize. I am not familiar with Milo, but he sounds confused, as one can not choose a sexual orientation any more than their eye color. It's sad when a person "does not want to be" what they naturally are. Imagine living with that unjustified guilt and self hate.

Who is this guy?
This is odd! Wtf?
Who. Is. This?!
+John Cole Well, myself.
Egret Zhars Oh, well hello new brother. You owe me 30 years of Christmas presents and birthday gifts. 😂
