Perhaps you could partner with a bike repair shop on what should be in a good home bicycle maintenance toolkit. I'm sure there are probably specialist/ quirky bicycle tools/ small accessories that would be fun to review also. Just an idea !

Knipex are the only ones for circlips. We replace a lots of bearings in our race car and their internal circlip pliers turns a 2 man 10 minute job into a 10 second piece of cake. I never knew that circlip pliers were uniquely sized on the clip size until recently
So glad you found that Crick level, I've never heard of them. Their website sells levels as small as 8 inches and they've got a 12. All of them are customizable...you can choose vial color, rubber cushions, anti fog lenses, magnets. You can even choose from a few different wood options and have it engraved! A bit expensive but that's an heirloom quality tool

When my Dad passed a couple years ago I wound up with his 4 foot wood level made by American (the brand), I am not sure how old it is, but I know my Dad had it for at least 40 years. It is beat up a bit and a couple of the glass protectors are busted but all the level bubbles are still good and it still functions as it should. It is a beautiful workmanship that you just don't see often anymore.

That shop reminds me of a local independent shop we used to have in town called Hoods. Lots of stuff hidden away and you could spend a while just looking around. Unfortunately long gone.
The dead blow “sand hammer” makes sure to transfer all of your momentum into what you’re working on instead of wasting it on the bounce. Usually found in auto mechanics shops here, they hit HARD.
The idea to do a video on wooden tools is great but only if its for New makes for older tool (IMO) would be better as most don't have time too look for older tool or have the patients like you do.

Channellock Code Blue WideAzz series are hands down the best adjustable wrenches I've used. Most comfortable handle and widest mouth available that I've found. They pair nicely with Knipex Cobras or Pliers Wrenches!
GREAT video. Other tool stores i like are Finkle Hardware in Lambertville, NJ.... Well off the beaten path, old time hardware store. The other is Harry J. Epstein in Kansas City. I have not been to the physical store, but they have a very great internet presence. Good quality tools!!
i like the wood spirit levels as it like the tactile feel to it but wish uk had more tool shops and place's to go to see different tools and bits plus a camping site with a tool and work shop should be open so we can shill out with a bear or coffee with out the stress

I went to your website and do not see any US General, aka Harbor Freight tool boxes. I have the 5 drawer Mechanics Cart, actually have 5 of them, 1 is SAE, 1 is Metric, 1 is Pneumatic tools, 1 is Hammers and Pliers and 1 is a 'Catch-All' these foam liners would be great for some of my tools. Thank You for possibly making this size/brand. ICON is on my short list as well, Harbor Freight as well.

I’m a firm believer in the best tool is the one you have with you, I carry a Leatherman surge/ bit kit with me in my breast pocket and a 1/4 ratchet with a 10 and 13mm socket does me for probably 75% of the jobs you come across whilst walking around doing rounds where something just needs a quick adjustment. So would love to see yourself do a smallest toolkit maybe a few challenges thrown in there.
3:34 I believe the sand in the dead blow hammer helps absorb the energy and shock that is created through striking an object, probably has something to do with helping to add some weight to the mallet aswell to balance it, could be wrong but that's my thought. Either way another interesting video👍

The 2mm T-Bar Allen key looks like its bent already, the trouble with such long allen keys, especially the smaller ones is the torque, they end up twisting or slipping out and bending!
I've never bent an Eklind hex key ever. The extra long ones seem to be spring hardened. I can give a bend to it for close quarters and it springs right back. Over 15 years I wore out the tip of a 5mm, I just cut off the first 1/2'' or so with a diamond wheel on a small angle grinder and it was back to new.

I used to be an aircraft mechanic and I spent a couple years working in America but 9/11 happened while I was there and that was the beginning of the end of my aviation career. I accumulated an eclectic mix of quirky specialist aviation tools that I hadn’t seen while working here in Ireland and Europe! It seems, if there was an oddball task, even if it didn’t happen often, the Americans would design a tool for it! We’d just make do and modify whatever we had to make it work! 😂 My favourite tool store of all time was Tool territory in Sears but sears is now long gone! 😢 I could spend a whole day in sears just browsing… suited the Mrs too as she could do the rest of the mall.. 😂 I visited the states last year but only got to visit a harbour freight store. They get a bad rap for cheap tools but wouldn’t we love to have them here!! The value is unreal because not all of their stuff is bad. I would have loved your sf system when I was in aviation back then! My last job in the states was a contract for the usaf and I had to shadow every single tool I had but I was doing it with white packing foam.. 🙄 Anyway I’m now a maintenance tech in a medical device factory back home in Cork and not overly bothered by the tools as much. I still use my dads wooden handled screwdrivers, they fit perfectly in the hand and last in my case two lifetimes.

Dead blow hammer has sand in it to prevent the hammer from recoil. The sand absorbs the impact.
The steel shot within the hollow head moves forward immediately behind the hammer blow to eliminate any rebound and transmit additional force.

Milwaukee isn't red in the UK because of Hilti!! I have the 6" wide channel locks and live them
