Holy crap, thank you! After wasting a bunch of time reading articles with solutions that didn't work or required third party software, I found your video and it worked perfect the first time! You rock!!
Thank you so much for posting this video. Once Word removed their built-in barcode tool I search internet but most solutions required $$$$. Yours was perfect and FREE! I print barcodes on labels only 1 time per year so your solution was perfect and appreciated! Great teacher!
THANK YOUUUUUU! Seriously, I spent an hour trying to figure this out using the Microsoft Support pages and got nowhere and you explained it in under four minutes. It worked perfectly.
Melhor vídeo de todos!! muito obrigada!! me salvou aqui ! todos os vídeos que eu vi não ajudaram, só esse. O cógigo gerado por meio da fonte não lê na maquina de leitura de código de barras. Somente dessa forma dá certo. Thanks!!!!
Thank you so much Shane for explaining the barcodes in Word. I am getting an error of "Required parameters are missing or incorrect" and "Data length is not supported by the current type" while selecting the EN13 barcode from the list. I have a data list of 12 digits code for that. Can you help please?
Same problem here! I'm using Word for Mac version 16.16.27, and I was able to follow everything in this video up to that point. When I right-click the field, "Edit Barcode" is not one of the options.
Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your helpful video. I have tried your suggest and it works well to my case. However, it would be so kind of you to please guide me how I could reduce the space among my fields on my label. Additionally, I implement your method to label wizard which a custom label. I found that even though I tried "zero line and space option" among fields, they are still somewhat quite apart from one another which results in abandon usage of label space...I understand that I could reduce the size of the barcode to fit the label however now my label has a lot of unused space which could be suitably adjusted...Thank you very much again sir!
If you look at 1:58, I think you can select "QR Code" instead of "Code 128" in the "Barcode Type" box like I did. I don't know that I held on to the sample file I used to make this video, otherwise I'd check it myself.
Thank you so so much. I looked everywhere including Microsoft. None had the info you had. Much appreciated.❤

Can you provide the file texting for us to practice. Thanks.
is this MS Office 2016 version?
This is very nice, however after I follow the steps I get an error message, perhaps because of my office version.
