it's a good lesson but it's still not clear WHY you would choose Dorian for the E flat? Why not Aeolian? Is that E flat part of Eflat Dorian? I am editing my response, because I think I have the answer. You know you have to use Eb Dorian because the Eb chord in the backing track is an Eb Dorian chord. It is a chord which uses the same notes as the Eb Dorian chord. This chord is the same as the second chord in the D Major scale? NO! THE Db Major scale! Eb is the second note!
😂😂 I'm on drop D tuning and recently I'm learning open C tuning too... How on earth does this video help me ??? 🤔🤔 Can somebody make me understand ?? ??
That's how it looks if you look down at your fretboard while playing. It's the standard way guitar diagrams are written. Pick up any guitar book or look up any diagrams and you'll see that they are all written that way. I understand how it can be confusing at first if you haven't seen it before.

Thank you! You deserve a laurel wreath blessed by Apollo himself!
Wow, thanks! 😄
You are using a Dorian mode over a minor chord, are there other chord types that this mode would also fit over?

You will need to play in E standard to follow along with the video easily
Your chart is does not agree with the guitar fretboard because it is upside-down. It's not logical. Straighten it out and let everyone know.
