Great story! Can’t wait for my party to enter the castle in a few months (playing once a month sucks…)
One thing I want to note: RAW it’s not possible to make an offhand attack if you’re using a rapier in your main hand, as its not a light weapon like the shortsword. But you’re the DM/storyteller, so do what you want!
