Just like in the starter set of 2014, i simply love Venomfang: It's not even the main villain of the story and yet, just by its mere presence, it feels (and actually is) far more menacing and dangerous than the BBEG (especially if encountered at level 5 or lower). P.s. love these episodes!
Loved most of the episode. Good voice acting and narration. Excellent story and production values. I disliked the surprise where Finn steals not one, or two, but three items from Venom Fang using invisible mage hand. How did the dragon not succeed on seeing these items floating in the air? How did Finn manage this right in the middle of conversation with a dragon that was already distrustful of the intruders? This seems far more like solely narration as opposed to narrated game play. Was the ax Hewn a small throwing axes? I just don't see how the dragon didn't see it. Unless Invisible Mage Hand also turns objects it pick up invisible.

I have run a couple parties through and feel the exact same. They always try and Venomfang always wrecks them.
@@path_of_the_yeti Venomfang ain't no one's fool ;)
Happy Friday
Happy Friday to you as well!
Your videos remind me it's Friday
Fridays mean the weekend is coming for me which is a good thing 😀
Well done as usual. Happy 2024. Retreat? What is this concept you speak of? LOL

Thanks for the feedback
I think using A.I. voices for the Pcs might give this a tab more flavour and get it picked up by more people
Thanks for the suggestion. I took a look before I started and didn't like anything I found at the time. I should probably take another look.
@@path_of_the_yetiI disagree, I think you doing the voices makes it feel more like a real campaign, with the DM voicing everyone :)
