    Thanks so much for doing this!! Being in NYO Jazz and this trombone section was one of the most fun and musically enriching experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I have so much respect for brothers August, Jett and Wyatt!

    Just attempting that 4 part at the end felt maddening. Geeze what causes that growl sound at 1:49? I've heard Troy andrews and Wycliffe Gordon use it and just can't seem to figure that out...

      In languages like spanish you have to roll your r’s to pronounce words like “rojo”, this is the same concept. You have to roll your tounge while playing the horn in order to make that sound. It’s called flutter tonguing.
