Another well presented video that explains what I need to do and why. The hard part is breaking my old habits and actually following their great advice.

Another great video! You guys have a good way of addressing concepts that are valuable for all skill levels. The footwork info is priceless! Whenever I’m not playing well and can’t figure out why, it’s always lazy footwork!

Great instruction! But how do you aim the ball accurately to get your target?

I usually return the serve deep as I can do accurately with pace in order to put “pressure” on the server and degrade their 3rd shot resulting in a pop up or unforced error.

At the advanced level, is the idea of getting into a dink rally to set up the point starting to lose some popularity?
I think of the prevalence of top spin dinks PLUS advances in paddle technology with much grittier surfaces as factors that might also influence strategy. Just my opinion but I would think that the idea of below the net speed ups are coming into play more often with those 2 factors.
If my opponent is great at that, why engage them frequently in dink rallies? Particularly if I have a choice to drop, drive or lob? Why drop and play to their strength?
Or am I just overthinking it? :)

Your partner can be a cause of losing the point too. :D And what makes it less fun is when the opposing team keeps on hitting it to him/her just for them to win the point.

There's some picky players at my local park that gets super crazed when you call the score wrong or take to long to serve. I've seen old grown adults snarl at middle schoolers.
